On May 16th I signed a contract with USA green contractor to install 4 impact windows for my condo . It took six months for them to send the order to manufacturer and install the windows . On the day of installation this company requested full payment which was immediately made by me and one of the windows at kitchen had been defective and keep falling down again and again I complained the company that the window is defective and needs to be repaired/ replaced since I have made full payment on the window . As per the contract signed this company promised lifetime warranty and service on the impact windows which they installed. They order new balancers 4 or more time to address the issue ************************* ************* manager is eventually hanging up on my calls and not addressing the issue since installation and company people are playing game with me putting my calls on lengthy hold time . I feel cheated and a victim of fraud as they send out un professional people who just use my home as warehouse by trading metal pieces and metal shaving even after warning them that there is toddler at who could have life threatening damage by swallowing fallen metal pieces . It is such a shame that Florida state provides license to such businesses which carry out unlawful and unethical practices to trouble a peaceful family and take advantage of innocent people. I and my wife had to clean up there trash every time they sent there employees to my place . Out to great hope I am writing this so that this issue gets resolved soon.If not I wouldnt hesitate to file a criminal complaint to trash my place making it life threatening for my child in court.Business response

The balancers were changed, but the problem occurred again. We reported this to the manufacture so they can visit the clients home. At this time the manufacture will reach out to the customer as it is a manufacture issue.

I am rejecting this response because:they have been providing this same response about manufacturer and balancers for the past 8 months. They have not picked my phone and put me on hold for hours .
The manufacturer never came and the service employees come and leave the apt in 30 minutes giving reason that they cannot fix the issue because of parts or do a shabby work and are always in prepared. The service manager is in responsive . I request the business to wait until the manufacturer or this business fixes all the issues before responding .

I am rejecting this response because:They sent an employee ****** to our place to check on windows who said that the windows are not installed correctly and noted down that window are not operable and also screws are missing on some . The company has not indicated how and when are they fixing the functional problems with all the windows. Its been more than 8 months and I called them again out of my time for which they failed to respond .

The manufacture sent technicians to the customer's home on 5/20, they determined the balancers need to be changed they will contact the customer directly to coordinate this service date. The customer is aware of this.

I am rejecting this response because:the message is very general and states the same thing over and over again about ordering balancers with no specific dates in mind also the balancers were replaced with new ones more than 6 times previously how different would it be this time ? I clearly informed that the manufacturer needed to carry tools and parts to fix the issue however they always come un prepared .

Purchased window from this company and the wrong items were installed and failed inspections twice. Contacted the company and hard time for them to respond much less come out and fix the concern. I am making payments for something I didn't purchase because the finance company released the funds to them as if they are in it together for kickbacks. My permit is going to expire in a few days and THEY will have to re-apply. This is a huge scam from the to even install the wrong parts trying to sell impact as they are not.Business response

On 3/24/2024 a salesman **** from *** Window and Doors came to our home. We explained to him what we wanted as far as windows and doors and how we wanted our payments structured which he agreed to. He rushed my wife through the contract to get her to sign and get our $7600 + deposit payment. We had no problem with that but our agreement was deposit then 20% when the product arrives and the work starts then the balance upon passing the City of Coral ******* inspection which he agreed to. Once he got back into his office, we got a call from the office secretary asking for another 30% down so they could order the product and again thats not the deal we made with **** or the owner **** which **** called when he was at our home and explain to him as well. I reached out to **** on 4/7/2024 and expressed how unhappy we were and how his company couldnt be trusted and how dishonest he was. This *************** made a racist comment in his text response to me saying quote everyone is not like your kind unquote which was very unprofessional and racist to call us out as African Americans. Now the company wont return our calls and has our money. We explained that we did not want to give half of the job before it even get started and he agreed to accept the deposit, then 20% when the product is delivered and the work is started then the balance after passed inspection by the City of *************.Business response

We spoke to the customer, she refused to pay upon ordering as stated in the contract, the order and it set to arrive on 6/28. At this time customer is in breach of contract, I have attached a copy below and this was passed to our attorney.

Do not ever do business with this company. The ***************, which represents as the owner of the company. His real name is ****. He is an ******* con artist. He also does not pay his employees. I have been trying to collect my money for over a year and a half. He is a liar and lies to customers constantly and tells you you are going to get something when you are not. He is there to steal your money thats about it. Do not ever do business with this company. Stay away if you know what is good for you. My husband and I paid $24,500 to USA Green Contractors Co. over a year ago for new windows and a sliding door to be purchased and installed in our *********** condo. The company took over half of our money in order to place an order for the windows. It took them over a year to come out to do the installation. While installing, their workers damaged the exterior of our building, the walls inside our unit, our bed in the bedroom and DID NOT PASS INSPECTION. The window screens were missing and they promised us new ones. After failing inspection, they sent someone from their company who was a field manager named ****** who looked absolutely mortified by the quality of their work and promised that someone else would come back and properly reinstall the windows and sliding door and fix the damage they caused. ****** also took photos. They said they would come out this past Saturday, March 16th 2024, but no one showed up or called. No one has called us since, we have reached out to the company via email and have yet to hear back. They were paid in FULL prior to installation, as this was required from them in order to fulfill the job, but they did not keep their end of the promise. It seems that they may have taken advantage of us being an elderly couple. BEWARE and STAY FAR AWAY from this company!!!Business response

Work began -02/21/2024 Nightmare, where to begin - The sales agent came out with nice thick samples of the windows we thought we were getting installed, he also did a heat test and I was amazed. These windows must of been 3/4" thick or so, I was amazed of the heat test and wanted them also because to reduce the outside noise. So we negotiated a price we came to a agreement, so they sent me the contract to review the specs. I review the specs thinking the length and width but had little understanding that they switched the thickness of the windows, these are not the same windows that he did his fancy heat test. They switched it on me under my nose and I missed it. What they gave me was 1/8" windows that at 5 PM I felt that heat through the new windows. They look so thin that I highly doubt there even impact windows, no way I would have agreed to this! Unreal I don't know what to say or do. I fell for it so I am writing this to help someone not fall for this trick. I am stuck with a whole set of over priced cheap windows - they ridiculed MR. ***** (which I got an estimate for much better windows) and said our windows are much better than that cheap glass and that's what they gave me cheap glass - They are not even done I am so mad.Next Got a loan to put up my windows, the lender sends me an email to sign that the job has been completed. The work cannot begin until I confirm to the lender that the work has been completed, called the window installer and tried to explain on how can I sign this if the work is not completed. What the installer or USA Green Contractors told me is that is in your contract states that you must approve that the job has been completed so they can start to release the funds, I felt highly uncomfortable with that, the job has not even started yet. I was baffled and I was forced to sign to say the work was completed before they even began the job.Customer response

Signed contracts with USA Windows and Doors on 10/21/2023 USA Green contractors arrived 01/11/2024 with all materials to begin the job and someone from the office calls me in the midst of the chaos and asked me to open my email and sign DocuSign. Unfortunately I was misled into believing it was for the start of job. On January ***** they installed windows and doors but did not complete the job entirely. I was told it would be completed after the *************** inspection. On January 18th the city inspector came and briefly checked the installation. He noticed the unfinished items but the contractor said he would finish them that same day. Since then Ive been on the telephone almost daily with various representatives trying to get assistance in resolving these issues. I have several pictures and videos of the incomplete project along with text messages between myself and a salesman who claimed to own the company. None of the issues have been resolved and the contractors were already paid by the finance department.Customer response

ESwindows is the manufacturer of the windows and doors. A company who uses a warehouse in ********, South America.
This manufacturer came to my home on Monday Feb 12th but was unable to resolve any of the issues I have with my windows and doors. In fact the gentleman ********* called his superviser to notify them that *** Green windows and doors (contractors) did not show up as planned and that there were many issues concerning the installation of the product and one window and one screen door were faulty , needing replacement. They claimed they need to reorder the products and then schedule replacement with the contractors.Ive missed several days of work (without pay) due to this issue and Im unable to have my homeowners insurance reduced for the upgrade to impact windows and doors because this project has not yet passed inspection.

I am rejecting this response because:The work is still not completed as of Monday Feb 26th at 1:45 pm
We have not yet resolved the issue about damage done to my new flooring and a refund / discount for the stress and inconvenience
The workers came on Sat Feb 24 over 2 hours late and did not complete all off the tasks they claimed they would fix
the men said they will submit The report to have the job finished as there are several issues still requiring attention (front doors, back screen door) cracked front door lock etc
I have also messaged ******** the vice president of this company about getting a refund for part of the job considering Ive missed time and money from work
As well as the stress caused by all of the issues with communication and various employees coming to my home to check the issues

I had the manufacture company visit here Monday Feb 26th. They tried to align the front doors but they said it required some more parts that the installation company missed out during install.
the photos are of a few pieces I ordered via Amazon to stop the doors from banging on my walls/ house. The manufacturer installed those as well.I am still waiting to here from USA Green Contractors regarding the completion of this job.

We had a crew there to address all issues and the manufacture as well. The only thing pending is a re-installation of front door, we reached out to ****************** and he said he would call us back and let us know what day they are available to do this (March 5th - Via phone). We are awaiting for this so we can finish the project.

I am rejecting this response because:My family and I have waited several months now to have this job completed and this company continues to make excuses why they are not available. At this point they need to schedule an appt at our convenience. The customers convenience.
In addition I do not understand why we cannot get any discounted refund if we have already paid in full to the finance company who was lied to by USA windows and doors claiming they finished the job. This company was paid in full and we had to make a payoff with additional fees bringing the price up from $37,800 to $42,300in addition to the money loss from missing work. This company should lose their accreditation because they have had many unsatisfactory customers.
I want my project completed and a hefty compensation for all the inconvenience

We contracted this company for three impact windows in August of 2020. In October of 2020, they were installed. However, the windows failed the city inspection on the day of installation. They returned in December of 2020 for the city inspector to inspect the windows, and again, the windows failed inspection. At this time, the windows had to be taken out and reinstalled for the inspector to see the interior of the install. In January of 2021, the windows passed inspection after they had fixed the issue. I did not receive the final permit until April of 2021 and multiple unanswered emails. In December of 2021, one of the windows could not be used as it did not close. Again, we needed to schedule a service agent to fix the window. Then, in December of 2023, the same window fell off the hinge and needed to be replaced. They fixed the window and damaged my kitchen cabinet doing so. I contacted the company regarding the damage to my cabinet and that email was left unanswered. At no point was I told that I had a balance prior to this. The staff at this company are extremely unprofessional. I have countless emails back and forth and no one had advised me of a 3 year balance until now. Wouldnt their accountant notice a balance on my account if I indeed have a balance for 3 years? The woman who advised me of this balance today was very unprofessional and would not allow me to explain that the last person who came to my house with the inspector in January of 2021 said to me there was no balance. I am shocked that I was contacted by a harsh and aggressive staff member (*****) claiming I still owe a balance after 3 years. This is the last straw with a company whose staff fails to respond to emails, are rude to customers, product and service is subpar at best, and then surprise you with a balance THREE years later.Business response

We have a collections department working on all past due accounts the customer owes a balance and it was never paid, any payments made we would have a record of payment and form of payment. The customer did not provide proof stating they made the payment, account is past due, and the balance needs to be paid.

Throughout this project with our client, who signed a contract with us on 12/19/2022, we have followed all required steps and procedures that we use for every client's project.
At the stage of the process where we communicate, submit and await approval of the association, we had submitted the initial ARC packet for their review of all documents they require.
Once we received the approval of that packet from them, we then focused on the production of the product and the city permit approvals, like we do with every client.
Once the product arrived at our warehouse and the city permit was approved, we reached out to the association to let them know the installation date that was scheduled for the client.
Up to this point we had been constantly and successfully communicating with and updating the client on the project status without issue.
When the association told us they needed a site safety plan packet submitted for the engineer to review and approve before install, we happily complied and submitted the basic details of the install in the packet.
Unfortunately, for 3-4 months, the association did not reply to our attempts to reach them for the review decision and the client was involved in all emailed communication and aware of the association causing a delay.
In our contract that the client signed, it states there are certain unavoidable delays that *** take place.
These delays are as follows and completely out of our company's control:
Homeowners' association review delays
Permit review of the city permits delays.
Manufacturer delays
Shipping delays
Bad weather causing delays.
Despite this, we still did everything possible in attempting to get a response from the association.
Finally, after the long wait, they informed us that they required certain additional documents to be included in this site safety plan.
We immediately let the homeowner know we would do what was needed to get this packet revised and resent it to the association.
Once we had all the information they required and all documentation, we then re-submitted the packet to be re-reviewed and approved.
Some associations require extra details, and some do not.
Once we were told exactly what was needed, we were more than happy to comply in providing this to the association.
We always want to do whatever is possible to complete our client's installs and projects.
At this time, we are waiting for the review and approval of the safety site plans submitted to the Association of this client and the client is fully aware of this.
Any delays or setbacks that have occurred in this project are due to avoidable circumstances not from our company specifically.
The Installation will be scheduled and begin once we hear back from the association on the decision of their review.
The client is fully aware of this status update and will need to be patient like we will need to be until we hear from the association.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because it is full of inaccurate/false information.1) When I signed the contract (12/2022) I was granted a delivery in maximum 4months (prior to hurricane season) and that , initial payment would have start together with fabrication : instead I started paying in 03/2023 when the company didn't have yet permits and approvals nor , had started fabrication.
2) As previously stated , it has always took me several emails and phone calls to get an often vague or incomplete answer , every time by a different person.
3)Association requirements and needed documents where provided to the company in May and , again on September 5 via email ; a further reminder/request about the Safety Plan was sent via email on September 25. The "safety plan" was provided on November 12 not in the form required (and sent via email) by the Association and obviously , it was not approved.
After 14 months I'm still waiting my windows and , I'm seriously concerned about its quality and , the ability to professionally install it by a below average company.
The 3 reasons above , are the final joke of a charade 14 months long : FACT is that the windows where supposed to be installed in March-April and where not ready to install (as stated by this company) until November. I understand that weather conditions may have delayed the freight a couple of weeks but , SEVEN MONTHS is an unacceptable lie.

As stated in your contract there could be delays, the manufacturing of the product is not the issue, but the association's time frame is. Furthermore, no one can guarantee an installation in 4 months given the fact that the client is an association, and they must approve the work before anything can be done. We cannot control manufacturing, association, or building departments these are all matters out of our hands.
As stated before, we submitted a new revised safety plan for the association to review, now we are waiting on their response, which given their history and according to the client's emails to the association they could take some time and we cannot predict a timeframe.
