    I moved in to the Aspen Run Apts in June of 2024. There has been nothing but problems. The office is constantly unavailable. There are charges in my account that are not supposed to be there. When I confront the leasing office I am informed that my account will be updated. But after a month it has yet to be. I am still paying for their renters insurance when I have provided my own. This is the 3rd month I have been trying to get this fixed.

    I have been in contact with Ms. ******* and I have corrected her ledger and the insurance fee.  She has provided verification of insurance the monthly charge was stopped on September 3. 2024.  I removed the late fee this month that was charged in error and her ledger is now correct.

    The Aspen Run Apartments has a full office staff onsite and are very responsive to answering emails and phone calls.

    If there are any other concerns, I urge Ms. ******* to stop by or call the leasing office and speak with the property manager, ***** to address them.

    I moved out from my apartment last June 28, 2024 and I gave timely notice. I have called, gone into the leasing office as calls are never answered or returned, spoke to ****** only to have her tell me it’s being processed but no timeline is given. We gave her the forwarding address upon moving out. The first time we went to the office to question the deposit was July 10th, to inquire about the deposit. ****** confirmed the address we gave her and we were told it would be returned to me within 30 days of moving out. We followed up again with ****** at the leasing office on August 19th only to be told it wasn’t processed by accounting as of yet. I know the State law regarding the return of rental deposits and it has not been followed by this company. She has not responded to my emails or phone calls as promised. I also have put in multiple maintenance requests during my tenancy but none of them were ever addressed. Broken doors on the balcony (which is a fire hazard), closet doors off the hinges and several other issues. All I am requesting is my deposit to be returned to me in a timely manner as my tenant rights have not been followed.

    This company has consistently mishandled charges on my account. They did not honor the terms on my welcome letter. They have failed to provide a copy of my lease. They have failed to address maintenance concerns for several months. They are unresponsive and unreachable. They do not respond to email or calls. They are not open at predictable hours. They are neglectful to their residents. They keep adding extra unexplained charges to my bill and threaten to evict me if I don't pay them. Even when they say not to pay them until they look into it.

    In short: I am writing to express my frustration with the fact that I have not received my deposit back from Aspen Run Apartments and have not received a satisfactory explanation for the delay. Details: I moved out of Aspen Run 2 apartment (*** * **), which is managed by the same company as Aspen Run Apartments, on July 30, 2022. However, I have not received my final statement or deposit refund yet. The reason given for not returning my deposit is that I did not submit a "notice to vacate form." However, I submitted this form in March 2022, but they did not notice it and needed to report it to another department or leadership to change the decision. Since then, I have not received any information from them, and they have refused to talk to me. They claim that my request is still in processing since December of last year. I am filing this complaint to get my deposit back, which is approximately $300. The attached file can prove that I sent my "notice to vacate form" on time and the lease of leaving in Aspen Run 2 apartment.

    I have looked over your account and the email you sent over in regards to your deposit. Looks like we charge you for not receiving your notice to vacate in time. Looking over details from your email, you did. I want to apologize that this matter is now getting resolved. We have submitted your correction to your moveout statement and waiting for approval. Once approve our account department will mail you out a check for your full deposit. The address we have on file is stated below.     I did an online application through the Business website. The online application stated that it was $75 non-refundable fee and another fee for $250 administrative which is not state non-refundable on the website so I ask for my refund for the $250 administrative fee and the office person told me its not refundable and they have paper in the office showing that. So I stated the website doesn't shows thatand he checked and also said that he didn't see it on there but still did not give me my $250 refund.
