I called to see if they have an account for me for anything, as I have been getting harassing type calls from debt attorneys but they wont tell me who has the account. So when I called this number (listed ON the website) the guy who answered said hello and shared no greeting or professional introduction l. He did; however, say my name and asked me to confirm who I was. This told me that I must be on the right track - they must have some kind of account for me, as he knew my name before I ever said who I was. When I asked him who my account was with he said he didnt know who I was and couldnt look anything up. But I reminded him that he knew my name when I called in but he then told me he never said my name and never asked me for it. He even went so far as to say that I denied my name when he asked. So which is it? He asked me and I lied or he never confirmed my name at all? Anyway - He continued saying he never knew my name and had no record of me in the system. So I asked to speak to a manager and someone named ******* answered, (both of them by the way, answered with hello and made it feel like I was calling some random person not a place of business). I asked ******* who the company was they were representing as I wanted to be sure who I was calling, at which point he said not going to waste my time or yours, good bye. My complaint is simple - if you are a supposedly reputable business and are even halfway interested in being compensated, you should take the time to act like one. I was not about to provide any of my personal information to a company who allows employees to behave so flippantly. I called the number on their website - I knew the name of the collection agency I was calling - but it made me very uneasy to provide any information to **** who behaved this way. I can see why there are so many online forums stating they are unscrupulous and dishonest.Global Trust Management, LLC Response

BEYOND RUDE!!!! IF THERE WERE STARS ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF THE LINE THEYD GET AT LEAST 5 NEGATIVE! I get there may be a law, but I'm not giving my info to anyone I don't know! I've already had my identify stolen NUMEROUS times over the last year so no I'm not giving my info out!Global Trust Management, LLC Response

This place called my husband and said that he owed an amount of money and when we called the place that he supposedly owed money to, he didnt at all in fact. They took over $800 and theyre so rude whenever you want to speak to someone about it.THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!Global Trust Management, LLC Response

I think that this company needs to find better customer service representatives. If they are truly recording phone calls, then they should listen to the conversations their employees have when contacting family members of claimed current customers. Contacting and leaving threatening messages like you are sending someone to jail is ridiculous. This is not a friendly company to work with, I told them I refused to work with the person handling my claim, they tried to keep sending me back to **************. When I was forwarded to **************, I refused to give her my name and said that I was not speaking with her and that I wanted to talk to a manager. ************** proceeded to try and verify my name and asked me if this was my name, I told her it was none of her business, she stated "Oh, yes it is my business!" The manager ***** that I spoke with, was not much better. She kept trying to transfer me back to **************. I asked for a lump sum payment for a debt that I am not sure is mine, they wanted to knock a few dollars off the number that is 3X's what the original debt was for. I am quite certain that they can knock off a lot more than a couple hundred dollars to get an account paid in full. I have requested that this company cease and desist all communication with anyone but me in the future. I have also asked the company to verify my debt and I will look forward to receiving this verification letter in the mail. But I will not communicate with a ************** in the future, ever! If you can validate my debt and want me to work with you in the future, I suggest that you find someone that is willing to work with customers. Account debts are not paid when people can't afford them. So, if you are wanting people to pay, maybe you should not employ such deplorable methods and employees.Global Trust Management, LLC Response

I called them when I found out that my previous account was sold to them. My first call was very nice and curious. The Second call was rude and very desrepectful. The woman I talked to would not let me get a word in edge wise. Told me and I quote " we can't help you if you don't help yourself". Can't believe this I was working on it before my loan was sold off and now because I can't comply with their demands to pay more then what I can they are going to file a claim against me.Global Trust Management, LLC Response

This company is very unprofessional. I believe that they hire people off the streets to handle the accounts. I constantly receive calls from representatives that are VERY rude, disrespectful, and condescending. Maury is the latest representative that I’ve spoken with. From the very beginning of the call she was disrespectful. She then called my family member’s phone and was rude and disrespectful with them as well. When I called back to speak with a supervisor; she REFUSED to acknowledge the employees horrible behavior and dismissed my complaint. No empathy. No apology for my horrible experience. I asked that my future correspondence be done through the mail because I will not subject myself to being disrespected. GTM has been calling me nonstop, which is fine considering it is a collection agency...however when I called to update my information (so they can contact me) ******** proceeded to say I was refusing to pay multiple times. I worked in collections, I know how things go...these are the most unprofessional people I have ever spoken with. You would think if you expect payment, you would be nicer....she asked me why wouldn't my mother help with my debt(since they were calling her as well) I told her that wasn't her business and that I am trying to communicate w/ them. ******** proceeded to yell and said she was sending in a refusal to pay when we didn't even go over the actual debt, I called to change information. Not only was she rude, she didn't validate who she was even talking to...she gave me my bday instead of asking for it to confirm the actual person. I don't have an issue with paying for something I needed, however I won't tolerate the stupidness I experienced today with them. She hung up the phone in my face without going over anything w/ me or confirming she updated my info. I had to call back in and luckily I got **** on the line to assist me, and he was very much so more pleasant. So thanks ****!!!! I have been paying my debt off and every time i talk to one of the collectors she is extremely rude. I missed a payment because i had unforeseen expenses pop up and i asked her if i could pay next week and she immediately just said no and that they would be taking this as a refusal to pay and that i should borrow more money to pay the debt.Global Trust Management, LLC Response
