    Service or Repair Issues
    Status:
    BBB unable to locate business
I am requesting the repair and completion of the following items:1. Side walk repair: Contractor neglected to put plywood over the *** sidewalk. Then excavator went over and broke it.2. Level property around pool and remove dirt from *** property: When excavating they didnt level around pool. 2ft difference on side of pool and dump truck load or more of dirt on *** property. Dirt should have been used to level or removed.3. Install concrete pool collar: Before inspection, contractor said I was responsible for installing a concrete collar around the pool because I had agreed to lay the pavers. It was never discussed or disclosed when I signed the contract. In fact, I had no idea what it was or its purpose. I followed up with the pool manufacturer that stated the concrete collar is to lock the pool in the ground, should be done by the pool contractor and has nothing to do with the pavers. Install involves a dig out of 12x8 around pool, rebar, grounding and concrete. Although, our contractor refused to do it, but contradicted himself by admitted in a text that the collar is NOT part of the deck. He stated the pool collar had to be installed BEFORE the deck and in the contract we agreed to deck only (meaning paver install.) This is the responsibility of the contractor.4. Remove fence from *** property and reinstall - Without my permission, removed over 80% (approximately 120ft but only approved 10ft) and three it behind house in ***** on *** property. I do not have permission to store items on *** property. Then, told they would not put it back up.5. The project should be completely finished and ready for pavers to be laid. - Everything except laying pavers is contractors responsibility. As an alternative, I can deduct the cost of the items above from payment. I have spoken to ************ and they have recommended another contractor to come clean up the mess and finish the job. I am very disappointed and would never recommend this contractor to anyone.
