As others have mentioned, this company will cancel your account, then charge you for a final month in which they do not provide any services. There is no communication until you receive a letter from a collections agency claiming you owe. Do not use this company, their service is awful, and you will get stuck in a debt collection nightmare when you cancel.Review from ROBERT J

Awful rip-off company. Stay away do not use them. They do not keep their word. They charged $74.00 for doing nothing after quoting me $49.95. You cannot trust these people at all.Review from Ed C

I started using Pool Troopers service on 4-16-2024 and the pool cleaner would come every Monday. By the end of June my pool had turned from clear water to green. I called and emailed them that the water in the pool had turned green. They said a supervisor would come out and take care of the problem. On July 3 the supervisor showed up and backwashed the sand filter plus added chemicals to the pool. In two days the green had turned to chalky white or cloudy and I still could barely see the bottom of the pool. I called and cancelled them and hired another pool company to clear up my pool. On 7-8-2024 the pool man from Pool Troopers showed up and I told him that I had cancelled my pool service with them. He said no one had told him and he left. I have a camera in my pool area and caught him before he did anything else to my pool.Review from Jon D

They replaced my equipment with a used chlorinator so "it would be cheaper for them to service". When I told them I don't want a used one and questioned the off-brand, they said don't worry, we warranty it as long as we service it. Now that it needs service they tell me they "gifted it" to us 9 months ago and won't cover it - even though they kept charging us the full amount for those 9 months. When a manager got on the line that's when the lying started. Deceptive practices. Now I have to pay to buy new equipment and repair the junk install they made. Pool troopers will give you below average service and charge a fortune while they are doing it. Take my advice and do not book a service or waste your time with the unprofessional people working the office.Review from Mike B

Signed up for service and received below average service with technician coming on random days or not at all. Canceled service in March 2023 but got a bill anyway in April. Pool Troopers never returned phone calls asking for clarification of bill but turned over to collection agency in June 2023. Explained problem to them and then nothing at all until another collection letter in June 2024. Ridiculous that Pool Troopers wouldnt even return a call, or provide a decent service. Absolutely horrible company. This company will hire anyone off the streets whether they have prior felonies or not. Experience is not required in fact they prefer people without it. They will work you year after year with very little chance for growth or raises, then throw you out like a piece of trash like they never even knew you. Do yourself a favor and find a better pool company to hire or work for. This is the worst company Ive ever worked for in my entire life. Wasted many years wish I wouldve left sooner.Review from Nicole B

This is the worst company ever! They fire people for no reason. They do not give raises and do not promote people who have dedicated their time to this company. I would not use them for my pool and I would not support them!Review from Craig S

I am currently living in a complex that uses Pool Troopers to keep our pool clean. As someone who used to clean pools myself when I was younger, I have to say they do an amazing job. ******* seems to be our assigned technician. He is awesome!! The pool is spotless, he is super friendly, and as someone who likes to swim laps daily, I am confident that the pool is going to be in tip top shape. Highly recommended!Review from Andy D

Run, run, from pool troopers I have exhausted tons of hours trying to get my pool blue and no one at this place cares. The whole summer was a nightmare. Was told the salt system was broken but no dates of when it would get fixed. The techs come in dump a jug of chlorine and dont even vacuum it. You call them and get the same response a supervisor will call you back yea right!!! I have been waiting for 6 months for a call back. What happened to this once great company. I will never recommend them or use them again. I think they need to do a clean sweep from top to bottom. What a waste of a company and customers time and money. Do not hire them unless you want to have headaches and a green pool.
