They committed fraud. They installed a 14 mo battery and sold it as new. With only 18 mo warranty. I wrote up the entire situation w them..but it disappeared. I have included my review which explains it all.

***************** contacted our repair shop to inform us that her battery was no longer working, after looking at her invoice the battery that was installed in her vehicle had a warranty of 18 months.  With the Warranty dated starting March 3, 2021, and expiring on September 3, 2022. I explained to the customer that her battery was outside of the warranty time frame because at this time it had been 33 months since it was installed.  But we did offer to exchange the battery for her at no cost if she could either get her car or the battery to us. Because she stated that she was deathly ill with lung problems.   ***************** took her vehicle to ******* and had them install a new battery and then came to our repair shop demanding a refund, for the amount she had paid for the battery at *******.  I explained to the customer we offered to exchange the battery and she declined so there will be no refund given to her at all. ***************** was a verry irate customer and was very difficult to work with.

That is another bunch of lies. Had the BATTERY I PURCHASED BEEN ACTUALLY NEW, AS THEY TOLD ME, it would've not died. When I went to their place of business to get my refund, THEY CALLED POLICE ON ME. They are UNETHICAL and committed FRAUD. I will meet w lake county DA, about this whole incident.  They are thieves. Sold me a battery that was 14 mos old, w a 18 mos warranty. I contacted AC delco, they said the only batteries they sell that only have an 18 mos warranty, are in commercial vehicles. Most of theirs are 36 mos, which CLEARLY would've been within the time

I went to ******* after the 400 lb husband said he was afraid to come to me. It had already been a week. My car was towed to a Nearby *******, not to a town 12 miles away. Besides, after they already SOLD ME A USED battery w a 18 mos warranty, I frankly do not trust them. And ***** trying to tack on $700 on an engine. They committed fraud

From the very beginning, we explained to ***************** her ACDelco battery was out of warranty.  After talking with her and she explained how she was experiencing a lot of medical health problems, we decided we would exchange the battery for her (at no cost to her) with another ACDelco battery.  With our company paying out of pocket for the battery.  There never were any agreements about a cash refund for the battery. Our offer still stands, we will EXCHANGE the ACDelco battery (part number 75S) that was originally installed in her vehicle, with another ACDelco battery at no charge. There will absolutely be no money given to ***************** for a refund.  We will keep this offer valid until 2-12-24.

They never said ANYTHING about replacing an ACDelco w another. Just more of their lies. Again, had the battery not been 14 mos old, it would've lasted. A news channel is gonna take over, and will be going to the business. They don't stand behind their work or what they sell. Bottom line THEY COMMITTED FRAUD..SOLD ME A BATTERY STATING IT WAS NEW, AND IT WAS USED.

Please provide the documentation of this so called interaction. Because, i knew w thieves, as i told you I WOULD ONLY COMMUNICATE via text or email so id have documentation...so please provide it. Because we know i had zero conversation at the "shop" as ***** called police immediately. So please do tell when convo happened.

BBB, I am going to courthouse next week to speak w DA, and if they can't help, I'll file small claims..w additional fees for this traumatization of a senior w severe medical issues
