  purchase a new ac on June ******* from Airmetrix . I was told that it was better than my 12 years old central unit because theirs was a 4 tons unit instead of my 3 tons unit.I asked them to verify and look any air leak on my ducts system before installing the new ac. Airmetrix told me that they fixed a small air escaping from my duct system and all my ducts were in perfect conditions. 2 weeks later i called them to let them know that my AC was turn on and off at night every one minute when the ac reach the temperature of 73 degrees and that i had to increase the thermostat at 74 degrees to prevent the compressor from getting damage. they came and told me it was the filter, i told them that i change the filter every month nothing was done. few days later i called them again about the same problem with the ac not working at night when it reaches 73 degree. they came looked and left telling me to call them when it happens again. Few days later i called them this time telling them the same issue that the ac keeps working no stop when the room temperature is at 73 degrees i have to wake up in the middle of the night increase the thermostat temperature at 74 degrees to avoid the compressor from getting damage. they told me that another technician will come with more experience that individual came and told me it is because the unit is to a 4 tons units bigger that the old one that i need to install more duct because the house is too small for this unit and felt outside the house cool air escaping maybe i need to fix my ducts which i replied Airmetrics told me everything is ok with my duct and told him there is no problem with my ducts because allthe vent are blowing the same cool air of about 56 degree. the individual sent by Airmetrix now start giving me a price to change all my duct for about 5000 dollars which i replied my ducts worked fine prior to replacing my unit .i told them to replace the unit or give me my money back since then i did not hear from them

  Mr. Monteiros 3 ton package unit was installed on june 7, 2024

  the original call to his home visit, was a ac service call to service an air conditioner.

  his ac had just had another company change the blower motor which was running when I got there.

  I diagnosed the original unit which was not working properly and had an existing refrigerant leak 

  low pressure was at 103psi, which was advised to the customer, he stated that he wanted a new unit that he was tired of fixing the old one

  I than proceeded to look under the trailer which has really really old duct work

  I explained to Mr. ******** the situation and that he would need new ductwork, he stated that he didnt want new ductwork, that he did not think he needed new ductwork that he only wanted the ac changed.
  I explained to him that patching holes in the ductwork is only putting a bandade on a big problem because is really old bit he stated he wanted just a section to a room that he believed was the problem  that he said that we were just trying to up sell to him

  So I did the ac change out and patched the one R8 flex leading to one side in the home
  The ac runs great its a 3 ton unit that Mr. ******** kept saying was a 4ton unit because he saw the ** in the beginning of the model number and assumed thats what it is bit it is not I have always tried to explain to him that it is a 3 ton. He tends to say things like he was an engineer and he knows better 

  the ac system is a ***** btu system model number, 4TCA4036C1000AA

  We have always answered his phone calls which he started to call 2 months later after he did all the windows in the home. Which all that didnt to any good to the ductwork and insulation thats falling i  the bottom of his home.

  I have always been there for every appointment and always made an appointment for the same day or next day

  Unfor Mr. ******** does not want to listen to reason and fabricated alot of the things he said in his complaint 

  I have tons of pictures of his ductwork and insulation. I explained to Mr. ******** he has more the right to get a second opinion from a licensed contractor that does ******** I also have ***** gave Mr. ******** a price for ductwork. 
  In conclusion the ac works great but by the ductwork loosing cfm of air through the holes is messing with the static pressure and not allowing the ac thermostat to reach a certain temperature in the home.
