PVC Fence Supply did not meet their agreement to have my order set aside in the warehouse, ready to be out the door on the morning of pickup. On 11/22/22, my contractors arrived about 9am to pick up my order which was not set aside and ready to go as promised on 11/9/22 when I made my deposit. A truck had pulled in just as my contractors arrived, and a pallet of fencing material was fork lifted off the truck. From this pallet, my order was directly placed on my contractors' trailer. It was a miscount, shorted one fence section, as I later learned. It was a nasty morning of pouring rain, so it's understandable that a mistake was made. However, the contractor didn't know this until after leaving. While the trailer was being loaded with fence sections, the contractor's partner was inside the warehouse to get the posts - which were not ready for pickup - the holes had not been drilled. My contractor had to wait for those holes to be drilled, an unnecessary waste of time that was charged back to my project. The next day, my contractor found that one of the poles still did not have the holes and he had to make a second trip back to PVC. This was a waste of a morning when the contractor should have been on my job, and again, an extra charge for me. PVC is not local, and with the commercial traffic in their vicinity, is a considerable drive back and forth from my house - time and gas. Then it was realized that my contractor received one less fence section than ordered, the mistake made the rainy morning of pickup, and I had to take time off from work, without pay, and pick up the missing section. I asked PVC to deliver and they refused. The sloppy handling of my order cost me about $500 in wasted contractor's time, my unpaid time from work, and gas. The company claims that I am lying about being shorted a panel. I have pictures of my fence installed, a video of what happened morning of pickup, and owner has been rude, calling me names, refusing to accept responsibility.
