******* was amazing she explained everything to me in great detail. She was so polite and even reminded me about putting my dog away before the estimators came out. We have not received right window .Thickness of window ***** ***** ******, **** Holl has sawn us thats not what we get. We also get SUNHEAT from windows. Windows are not blocking sun Heat.We need to correct all this. We spend money for new wind to improve My house Light bill and Protect from Hurricane. Windows are not Thick enough that we wanted. I have to repot Issue with Also County inspection have not pass yet. Also we Order windows on May ******* and we been told New window will install in first week of August,2024 but we did not get New wind until October 23 ,2024.During that time we get two ***** Hurricane that we did not get protection. And we had to pay to install window shutter twice to put on and twice to take it out. We have few broken tiles. And Our house get full of Dust.Statewide Windows & Doors, Inc. Response

Hello *** and Mrs. ************** understand **** met with you last week to try and understand your concerns. We want you to be satisfied that the delivered product matches what you contracted for and would like to find a way to have the BBB complaint removed. I hope that after you read this email that you understand that we delivered exactly as **** promised and that you understand how damaging to our reputation and livelihood a BBB complaint can be. Here are the notes he sent in:
Customer wants us to discount to ******, fix grout, tile, window ***** that were cracked, and order the window that was missed
.You had concerns with heat entering the home. The Low E *********************************************************************** the market. There is no better solution for blocking sun heat. It cannot possibly block 100% of heat, as this would also block all visible sunlight. A majority of it's effectiveness comes from blocking virtually all UV light which is damaging and causes heat.
Statewide has a vinyl product that **** will often show customers. This product has the same exact Low E 366 coating as what you have now, but prevents ambient temperature transferring though the glass on hot days. Vinyl was impossible for your home due to size restrictions, so it was never an option, and it has the exact same performance as aluminum in blocking un heat. For these two reasons above, I cannot see justification for a discount as you paid for exactly what you received and is performing at the highest level possible. Over time, you will notice your AC bills come down, we hear this from countless customers. Don't take my word for it, you can ****** search Cardinal Glass Low E 366.
Below is a screenshot of your agreement and your signature agreeing on your "11 Customer Responsibilities". One of these responsibilities is for replacing broken tile and *****. This disclosure is standard practice across all home renovation companies because it is understood that when removing aged, buried, or improperly installed tile or window *****, they may break. This would not be Statewide's fault in the event this happens, it would be because the original installer used insufficient grout, creating hollow pockets that crack when being cut. The good news is that fixing broken tile and ***** is a very easy and inexpensive project with a tile company.
In terms of the missing window, I see that on the measure there were 4 windows you were not replacing. I also see that we ordered the same amount of windows as were on the contract, so nothing was missed from that perspective. Having said that, in an effort to meet somewhere in the middle I can see about ordering this window at no cost to you if that helps? We just need to get it measured and I will take care of that for you.

The inspection, which took place on 10/6/2024, went perfectly, with all windows and doors passing without any issues. Great experience to start with......of course they wanted us to place an order! We were told by the salesman that we would be sent images of doors to choose the design we wanted, no, someone else chose the doors for us. After following up, we were sent images and so manufacturing wasn't held up further we ageed to go with what had been ordered for us. Order was placed in April and installation started 09/18/2024. We were told there'd be no mess whatsoever. We finished the clearing up. Inspection was due on 09/20/24 and one of the doors and a few of the windows failed. Corrections were made the following week and the inspector passed the installation. Final payment was made but the job has still NOT been finished, we are still waiting for trims to be installed on a door. I have reached out to Stateside letting them know that 2 of the windows have leaked, sending pictures, and we were told that this is normal for the design! It actually looks like a seal is missing on the exterior of each window. Some of the frames are scratched, there are gaps where trims have been installed, again we were told the gaps are needed so not to scratch the frames! The caulking is a mess. I really do not like giving bad reviews but disappointment have taken over.Statewide Windows & Doors, Inc. Response

Today is the day Hurricane ****** arrives and we are still without windows. EL pasado mes de *****, I wrote a letter about the bad service provided by this company. I remember we placed the order in early April and today, October 9, we are still waiting. The order was supposed to be ready for the hurricane season and as you can see, we are still waiting with no news from the company and. Just after my previous writing and with pressure from the company to remove the negative comment, six suspicious super-positive comments from supposed customers of the company appear (*****, *****, *****, *****, *****, *****, too much coincidence don't you think? ). Never before were there positive comments because those who write here to denounce the bad service of the companies and not how well they do it as a general rule and more in this company. Well, now I come back to expose the lack of commitment to the customer. When the General Manager contacted me to remove my negative comment from his company, he told me in textual words ... If you would help me out and allow BBB to remove it, I would appreciate it, we would make it up to you with a AAA install. If you aren't happy when we are done, please put it back up - but I assure you that won't ********* you think that to receive AAA work I have to remove a bad review on BBB? What kind of work will I get if I don't take it back? Is more than 6 months to install an order normal? Please don't say that we didn't warn you...Review from Deborah P

I ordered my windows on May 15, 2024. I was promised my windows in July 2024. I was never told my windows are made in another country, and needed to be shipped to the ***. Here we are Oct 7, 2024, the day they are to install my windows. I have taken all my blinds, and curtains down, removed stuff from the path of the windows.. basically.. i'm in a mess. Just short of 8:30am.. I get the call they are NOT coming. I have called to let them know most of the plastic around my windows is gone/cracked. The only thing holding my windows in is caulk. Another hurricane is on its way and is going to hit my area.. and they wait till the day of the install to say.. oopsy we can't come.. ************ is a scam/shame of ownership. I'm sick of the excuses they give. BTW.. it may be raining by you... But the sun is out here in *****************.Statewide Windows & Doors, Inc. Response

Our team implements diligent efforts to accommodate all our customers and staff in a safe manner. At the time of this correspondence, a State of Emergency is in effect due to the threat from Hurricane ****** as the storm approaches our area and Statewide Windows and Doors elected to close operations so our staff and customers alike could prepare for the storm. This matter is an act of nature which is beyond the Companys control. Additionally, all the building department and inspectors have been cancelled and plan to reopen next week on Monday. We at Statewide Windows and Doors are following all guidelines that City's Officials and the Governor have advised us to follow, and we do truly apologize for any inconveniences this event may have caused. Our team has already rescheduled your installation to occur on Oct 16th, 2024 and we look forward to completing your job as promised. The entire process from coming out to do initial measurements, to advising us on available products, to filing all necessary documentation/applications/permits with our HOA and the building department, to scheduling and communication, and finally to installation was seamless, professional and positive. The installation team worked very efficiently and neatly. Our overall experience was so positive that we are going to be repeat customers at our other property.
