I was involved in a car accident on 8/10/***** insurance company provide me with a few places of business to select to fix my car so therefore I chose Chevrolet location ********************************************************************* went there on 8/26/24 got a appraisal from the adjuster left the car to fix .On 9/20/24 I was given a call to pickup car.On 9/21/24 I started to inspect my car and noticed imperfections the left fender left door and the left end of bumper and I also notice scratches above the left fender and left door on driver .on 9/22/24 I go back to speak with coby who is in charge of the job explain then I show the problems of the car also ask him if the parts he use to replace the parts with was all original from the ***** company he said yes.i asked him to show me the receipts of the parts he only show one and he said that he couldn't find the ******* on 9/23/24 I took my car to get at ***** dealership to inspect my car the gentlemen from ***** informed that the parts he put on the car was aftermarket and the paint did not match so I went back to speak coby from Chevrolet and explained what the ***** guy explained he said got very upset and getting aggressive and started yelling at me unprofessional very rude how he conducted and how I was treated he also said that the parts are original therefore I can't do nothing else to help me to fix the ****** I left and call my insurance company explained the situation also how they are committing fraud and over charged them on the parts and I have proof I don't trust that company Chevrolet they are scaming people doing alot of bad business.Business response

Per Mr. **** complaint we have attached the estimate, repair order and invoices. ********** requested all aftermarket parts, however there is NO aftermarket door available, so the door was purchased from ***** (see invoice). The rest of the vehicle was put together based on what his auto insurance, State Farm, authorized. There is no bad business or scamming going on here, just following his insurance companies direction and authorization. If Mr. **** wants a refund, he needs to contact his insurance company.Customer response

This is the only receipt that the Chevrolet company produced from *********** this is aftermarket company provide only these of types of parts are sold there they did not have any more receipts and that is a invoice receipt is what the parts they brought.Initial Complaint

On 10/24/22, ************************* and I went to purchase a 2015 ***** Silverado listed for $48,000,on line. We didn't get approved that day. On 10/26 Wed, we went back to purchase the vehicle cash. ******* and I were treated terribly by the salesman. We arrived at 4:30 and were told that someone else was coming to take a look at the vehicle, that they were in contact with the sales lady and she was waiting until 7:30 to make the sale. I stated to the sales manager that we had cash to purchase the truck, his response was "sorry" someone else is coming. I asked the sales manager, was there any paper work started on the truck, witch he stated 'the guy was in contact all week and they were gonna wait on him. I called ***** the salesman that helped us on Mon and stated to him everything that had taken place. ***** left from home to see why they didn't want to sale us the truck. ******* and I meet with *****, and he stated that the guy never filled out any paper work to purchase the truck and that the other sales lady was going to see if he can get approved. We waited until 8:30 p.m. then Finally we were told we can purchase the truck, the man didn't get approved for the loan. I feel we were treated poorly, we were over looked as if we couldn't afford the truck. We paid cash $52,000 for the truck because we really wanted that one. We were a little upset about the situation that had taken place. I felt they wanted to make sure the caucasian male had the opportunity to purchase the truck before us. I feel we were charged to much for the vehicle even with paying cash. The truck has a certified pre own warranty from the dealer and already had to be put in the shop. The cost was $3000 to fix and when contacting ***** Center. **** the service advisor stated they weren't going to fix the truck under the warranty. The dealer couldn't have serviced the truck or they would've found the problems that Seminole ***** Had to fix! We've only had the truck two months and problems already!Business response

On 10/24/2022 ************************* did come to Chevrolet Center to purchase a **************************************** their statement that he did not get approved for the loan. There was no contact from ************************* after leaving that day, until he showed up 2 nights later with intent to purchase the vehicle with cash. We do not hold vehicles for customers unless there is a non-refundable $1,000 deposit, which was not provided by *************************. Another salesman did have a different customer interested in the vehicle, who had an appointment to come test drive and work a deal on the evening ************************* returned to the dealership. We felt we needed to honor the appointment since there had been no communication for 2 days from *************************. As far as the warranty on the vehicle, it covers engine, transmission and drive axle. The DEF pump, coolant *************** exchange and power port are not a covered repair per the warranty.Initial Complaint

After having two prior service appointments for an airbag recall where they did not have the part needed to make the repair, I took my truck to Chevrolet Center Winter Haven on 9/6/2022 for a passenger side airbag recall. I got the truck back about an hour later and immediately noticed that the dashboard was cracked in two places at the front corners of the airbag! At the bottom of the service invoice it said "- dash cracked -". After going back inside and bringing this to the attention of the service advisor who did the initial service write-up, he pointed to another guy saying "oh you have to take that up with the boss". The "boss" told me that the dash was cracked when the truck came in. I told him that was not true, but he insisted that it was because it was noted on the paperwork when the truck came in. I asked to see that paperwork and he showed me a printed-out document that had "dash cracked" hand-written in blue ink on it! I pointed out that clearly this was hand-written after the truck was written up for service. He then changed his story and said that it is common for the dashboards to crack when they take the airbag out because they are old. Well, I work on "old" vehicles all the time, and a 2013 model is not "old". This is unacceptable and the result of unqualified technicians who are rushed to get jobs done quickly by dealership management. I called them out on social media and also engaged Chevrolet Corp. On social media, Chevrolet Center answered by posting a bulleting from Chevrolet, and claimed that the bulletin stated that "the dash may crack". What they did not point out is that the bulletin also said that the dash area around the airbag needs to be inspected with the customer prior to making any repairs, which was never done. I asked them to post or show the initial service write-up where they hand-wrote "dash cracked", but received no further response.Business response
