    Brought my 2015 ****** Altima in for transmission check, an oil change, a cabin filter change, and a "road ready " check for upcoming road trip. JMW charged me $75 to check for "hesitation when shifting" when I told them it only slipped once a few weeks ago, but I was worried it may indicate a transmission issue (it had ***** miles on it). Then they charged an additional $67.50 for "multipoint vehicle inspection." They charged $61.50 for cabin filter replacement. I was told by JMW transmission was fine. My car was in shop on Friday and Monday. I mentioned ** sounded loud. I was told not to worry it was fine. I even called afterwards because noise was loud ( I am hearing impaired, and I even heard it- a friend said it was VERY loud ) and a odd smell was coming out of vents. I took car to dealer at ***** miles. They found air filter installed incorrectly and was damaged during install. They had to take out glove box and blower motor, clean the blower motor and clean debris from blower housing. Now it is quiet and functioning fine. They reinspected car ( and without me mentioning transmission issue since JMW said it was fine) - they found a transmission leak. I paid $549.95 for air cabin damage and $71.63 for NEW cabin filter, and $483.67 for transmission leak. I talked to owner and mechanic supervisor about this, I asked for refund on damage to my car and was denied. If I kept running the ** as JMW told me via multiple conversations in person and on phone after the "repair," the damage could've been in thousands of dollars. I was told "its ok to be loud but if bothersome they could change the motor?" JMW should at MINIMUM refund $61.50 for the cost of the air cabin replacement they said they did, the $75 for transmission labor they charged me, and the $621.58 for the dealer to fix the problem they caused. I'm not asking to pay for the car rental I had to get to leave mine at the dealer, or for labor to reassess my car and fix transmission leak.
