I went in for routine lab work on 10/22/2021. 11/22/2021 I received a **** for $2000, when this routinely costs maybe a couple hundred dollars. I called my insurance why they denied the claim, and they told me because my provider billed it incorrectly, and that I should contact my provider. I have all of the information I need from my insurance to fix the error. I have been calling my provider for 4 months trying to get a hold of my doctor. I am either hung up on, unable to leave a voicemail, or sit ringing for several minutes.On the off-chance I am able to leave a message, I give clear instructions to call me back. The voicemail says they will call back in 24 hours, but nobody has ever called me. I am furious, as this $2000 **** is on its way to go to a collections agency. I've asked my insurance to put it on hold as long as they can, but I am still unable to get ahold of my doctor to discuss the incorrect diagnostic code used, and what it should be. And I need my Doctor to call me, nobody else. Not a nurse, not a front desk person. My Doctor.Business response

In response to a letter from the BBB of Metro Atlanta, ****** & NE ******* dated March 8, 2022 referencing ID ********, AID ******************** has no record of the customer referenced in the correspondence.

How can they not find a record of me? I've been going there for 2 years! I don't have an account number to my knowledge. Would you have an example of what you would need?Business response
