    Home Depot of **********, ********. **************************************************************** ************* My mother has paid them for blind installation 4 months back. They have literally made my elderly mother cried. She is been calling them for installation and they schedule it and never show up. Customer ********************** is horrible.

    My name is ***** and I purchased a Milwaukee heated coat from the ************, ** store. The first coat didnt seem to work. I returned it and we agreed on a switch. The second coat did not meet my standards. It wasnt warm and did not help me in the -18 temperature we get from time to time. I just wanted my money back. I spoke to the manager **** and we went through a heated vest instead and it was no good. We opened another coat and another. They dont work. **** said he would give me my money back and after trying so many coats he refused. He offered store credit only. I called the corporate office and they agreed to refund my money on my credit card to wait 10 ten days. I called back after 7 days. They told me to call back after 10 days. I called back after ten days and no refund. The coat I have now, the battery doesnt charge and is now useless. I have working coats. Its $193.54. Im ready to take the loss but Ive heard that Home Depot just wants you to go away but I should persist. Its take an hour a day to do this and I have been doing so since Christmas. Today is February 4th. This heated coat was all I wanted for Christmas and the battery doesnt work. The cashier told me these coats get returned all the time and **** the manager says hes never heard any complaints. The service is inconsistent and it feels like lies. I contacted ********* as well and thats a whole different story. They were rude, suggested I calm down for the sake of my blood pressure over the phone. This entire experience has been a nightmare. I just want my money back at this point. Im not interested at shopping at Home Depot for anything. Im not even comfortable going into the location. The staff was wonderful but all the management team did was insult me. Please reach out however preferred. Thank you.

    When it comes time to do a remodel of a kitchen... RUN!!! RUN FAR AWAY.. do not even look at home depot!! a 3 month project took 7 months with numerous mistakes.. and if they work with Absolute Construction then you are really in trouble. Do your research.. but not with these 2 companies working together.. They made a promise that they would make me fall in love with my kitchen.. and i absolutely hate it. I even have to get my bathroom redone again.. but it will not be with them thats for sure. I managed to get a discount.. but its still not a fair amount for all that I had to go thru, which includes my being the project manager for the entire project.. constantly having to call in issues and had to move around my schedule on a constant basis.

    Order from Home Depot placed online, order #WM96450684 . Order details specify "Arriving Sunday Feb. 2. The item did not arrive as stated at time of order placed. When I used the customer chat, ********************** representative stated that "arriving Sunday 2/1" was an "ETA" and that it would arrive within a few days thereafter.This is fraud. Nowhere at tie of order placement or in the order details does it state any "ETA" of shipment. It only states, "ARRIVING SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2."This fraud coaxes shoppers into thinking their package will arrive at a different, earlier time than actual, luring shoppers away from online competitors like ************ (of which I am a member) that offer next-day delivery on many items such as ******* such, my small business is adversely impacted since I cannot complete my job as reported to my client. Had I ordered from ****** instead, I'd have had the item on time. Home Depot's sales fraud has embarrassed my business' offerings in a competitive market.I have complained to the ************************ Online fraud department.

    Same complaint no results. I have been dealing with this same issue since this particular window was installed. Same result each time. No one from Home Depot will come to see window. Just keeping ordering window. Window is installed same result. No one from Home Depot will hear my complaints nor come to see window.

    In March 2023, I purchased and had Home Depot install a carpet in my first-floor (above ground level) bedroom, which has a concrete floor. Earlier this month (January 2025), I noticed a strong mildew smell coming from the carpet. Upon pulling up a corner, I discovered dampness under the pad, black spots, and an instant, strong odor. Concerned, I conducted an in-home mold test, which came back positive.On January 29, 2025, I visited Home Depot and spoke with ***** in the installation department. I explained the situation, and she initially acknowledged that this appeared to be an installation error. Based on my research, a moisture barrier should have been installed over the concrete before the carpet pad, which was not done. ***** assured me that she would look into the matter.Since then, I have received conflicting emails and phone calls from *****. At first, she claimed that the installers performed a moisture test before installing the carpet and found no issues. Later, she retracted that statement and said no moisture test was required. These inconsistencies raise serious concerns about Home Depots accountability and transparency. Furthermore, the store manager, *****, has been copied in all email correspondence, and despite addressing my concerns to him directly, he has not responded at all.I have had this carpet for less than two years, and due to improper installation, my family is now exposed to mold. Home Depot advertises itself as an expert in flooring installation, yet they are refusing to take responsibility for this issue. Instead, they are shifting the blame onto me, claiming the concrete naturally contains moisture. However, it was their responsibility to install the carpet correctly, considering the conditions of the room.I am requesting that Home Depot:Take responsibility for the improper installation Remove the defective carpet and padding at their expense.Compensate me for the cost of a proper replacement

    Never again. Home Depot can't seem to get it right. They have messed up 3 large orders. A couple years ago I had to replace my patio door. I wanted a standard door, instead I received a custom door. Not a big deal since tgey fixed tge price. The door they ordered had the handle on the wrong side, therefore they had to reorder a second door. My order was delayed.Last year, I ordered a new fridge. I noticed that the water dispenser spilled water on the floor every time it was used. I called within 24 hours to return it. Home Depot scheduled a pick up date. In the meantime, I ordered a replacement fridge from Home Depot. A man came to my door to remove the first fridge, however that was not the assignment that he received. He thought he was supposed to fix the fridge. He did not speak English, therefore we communicated with the help of ****** translate. He was alone and did not have a truck,therefore he could not take the fridge. A few days later my new fridge arrived. They exchanged the old one for the new one and brought it back to Home Depot. There was some form of miscommunication because Home Depot thought that I had kept the previous fridge. They refused to refund me until I could prove it. It took 3 months and numerous frustrating phone calls to get a refund. Earlier this year we gave Home Depot a third chance. We bought a dishwasher. It was supposed to arrive on January 17th. We received an email a couple days prior indicating that it was on back order and will arrive on January 31st. Things happen, we did not complain. Yesterday, we received an email that it will arrive on February 10th. We were offered a $50 gift card for the inconvenience ONLY IF we do not cancel our order. This is insult to injury after 3 times. $50 is laughable at this point. Who knows if we will receive it on the 10th or not. I've only ordered 3 large items from home depot. Each one was a terrible experience. Never again will I order any home improvement or appliance item from them.

    Ordered a front door September 1st that was supposed to be in within 70 days. Approximately 70 days later I received a phone call that said it came in damaged and they were reordering it and I would be here January 20th and I was fine with that but when I had not heard anything by the 22nd I called the store and they said it should be here any day now and they would send me tracking information asap. After not hearing anything back I went to the store on January 31st( today) and after talking with several employees I was informed that it MIGHT be here March 15th. Why no one had called me to tell me this I dont understand. I guess if I had not went to the store I wouldnt have been told this. When we purchased the door the ******** said hey why dont you sign up for OUR credit card and you can save a little bit, which I did. After all this frustration I decided I just wanted my money back. Now everyone changes their tone and says oh thats not OUR credit card thats an agreement between you and ******** and you need to contact them and SOMETIMES they will send you a check refund instead of getting store credit!!!! Thats so wrong in so many ways. Customer ********************** is definitely not a priority to them. Highly recommend that no one is as gullible as I am and actually believe and put trust into these people!

    I purchased new windows to replace the old windows in my home from Home Depot. After the windows were installed the city inspector came to do the inspection. The inspection FAILED!!! I took it upon myself to do some research on city codes, IRC and installation requirements with the AAMA/WDMA/CSA. I contacted Home Depot not only with what the inspector has found that failed, but also with other requirements that were not meet. This has been going on for 8 months while I am still making payments on the windows. Home Depot has not taken this seriously and is dragging their feet to fix it. Just a list of none compliant requirements by code:INSTULATION NOT FOLLOWED BY MANUFACTURE DIRECTIONS WINDOWS NOT LEVEL, SQUARE, OR PLUM NO SHIMS IMPROPER MOUNTING SCREWS NO FLASHING NO INSULATION IMPROPER CAUKING NO BACKER RODS FOR CAUKING The caulking has cracked twice on multiple windows in the 8 months of the installation. I have outside air penetrating in my home. This is causing high electric bill, pollen in the home, and potentially water in the walls. The interior walls have cracked in the corners by the windows and flashing on the corners. I have miss work several days to meet with Home Depot representatives, installation team and a representative from the window manufacture several times. While in the meantime I am still making payments on the epic failure of an installation that has not meet with city codes and still not passing inspection. I am only giving 1 star because it is required, but I would not leave a star if I could.

    Former employee of The Home Depot for over 4 years.I would describe it as: amazing when its good, when its bad, look for a new job.This company allows employees to have money taken from their paychecks and endangers them to the point of almost death. ***************** is too cowardly and will get someone injured or killed because they won't have an open conversation with troublesome employees, and theyd rather sweep everything under the rug and pretend nothing is happening and praying it wont. Management has ignored multiple emails, meetings they even agreed to. So they know money has been taken from employees, that our lives have been endangered. They DO NOT CARE. Management is either ALLOWED, or TOLD to lie, without consequence.
