I received a gift card to Great American Cookies as a wedding gift on 07/03/2021. I dont go where those locations are frequently. I eventually got there and used half of it without issue. I made it back a second time and now they have told me the gift cards are on their old point of sale system and they refuse to take any gift card purchased before the switch. This card still has $30 left on it. Plus they have who knows how many other gift cards floating out there that cant be used. I contacted them and they tried to resolve my issue, but the next time I came back, they didnt have any product available to purchase, so that was another wasted trip to their store. Basically, they refuse to accept gift cards purchased and used at the store location in **************.

I placed an order on December 9,2022 the total was $54.15. The same day I canceled the order with the manager *** because I no longer needed it. He told me my money will be refunded within 3 business days. On December 12,2022 I received the refund of $54.15 back to my card. On December 17,2022 the money was taken back out of my account in the amount of $54.15. I never placed another order or picked up anything from there. So why would I be charged again for the same price for something I did not receive? I filed a dispute with my bank and canceled my card but they said the merchant denied the claim. I then went back to *** and showed him that it was taken back out. He then told me I need to bring a bank statement, which I could not provide until the month of December was over. So I waited until January 3,2023 and went back to *** with my paperless statement, he then told me I needed a paper statement. I showed him that it says purchased on the December 17,2022 and I didnt even purchase anything or came into the mall that day. He said because it had a minus next to amount that it means it went back to my card. He walked away not refunding anything. Im furious because ** being charged for something I did not receive. They do not have a corporate number. I did send an email to customer service havent heard back from anyone yet.
