I am a disabled vet with my health insurance being covered 100% by the VA. I am not of ******** age and my phone number has been on the *** DoNotCall list since 2016. I have NEVER opted in anywhere, given out my number for any inquiry, or asked about insurance as I absolutely do not need it.On Aug 11tth my phone started receiving telemarketing calls, sometimes as many as 16 a day. They were all from the same ***** call center with heavy accents and 98% of them were for ******** benefits, also known as ******** Advantage. In come cases they posed as ********. I kept telling the callers that I was not old enough for ******** and to stop calling. This usually resulted in insults, profanity, or just slamming down the call.On 10/20 the call number reached 230 calls and I had enough. I decided to play along with them to try and get info. On call 231 I was able to ID the caller responsible as One Digital out of *******, with their HQ in *******. I have all calls logged and timestamped as well as many of them recorded. The person gave their name and I was able to trace them back. I then called their call center and another person admitted they called and I asked to speak to the first caller who then called me back. There is no doubt this firm is responsible as numerous calls were recorded to show absolute proof. In addition, there are many instances of forged caller IDs on these calls. When called back, they either are a busy signal 24/7, play a recording saying they are no longer in service, or belong to innocent people and businesses. 234 calls in just over 2 months, and more still come in daily. The number that called back and admitted they were the ones I spoke to is **********: One Digital.234 calls in 70 days is more than just annoying, it is absolute harassment on a dangerous level.

    Business response

We appreciate the BBB informing us of Mr. ******* concerns and for the opportunity to respond and address them. As an fundamental initial business matter, One Digital has absolutely no desire to speak with consumers who are not interested in, or have no need for, our services, which is why we insist on only receiving inbound and transferred calls from consumers who have consented to such. In this specific instance, our records show that Mr. ******* name and telephone number are already present on One Digitals internal do-not-call list, and it has existed there since very early in the sequence of events described by Mr.******* ********* We can definitively confirm that he will receive no calls from One Digital related to the services we provide.

It s important to point out that One Digital has never called, and would never under any circumstances call, any consumer the number of times that **************** is alleging. One Digital is not responsible for these calls. The vast majority of consumers One Digital speaks with are inbound calls from consumers, rather than outbound-dialed calls. Regrettably, we understand that third-party marketing companies will often provide a consumers contact information to more than one entity, which is doubtless what has occurred here as no single entity could possibly be responsible for this number of alleged calls. What is certain is the fact that it was not our company; One Digital takes its legal, compliance, and customer satisfaction responsibilities with tremendous seriousness. While it may be of scant solace to **************** to hear that One Digital is not responsible for this conduct we do genuinely empathize with his frustration.

We hope this clears up any misunderstanding or confusion as it pertains to One Digital. If **************** wishes, for whatever reason, to remove his name from our internal do-not-call list in the future, he may contact us at his convenience to make that request.

    Complaint: 20762964

I am rejecting this response because your firm was absolutely exposed.  I have the video online at **************************** that clearly shows how the operation works.  There are also other complaints online which share the same issue that I am experiencing, though now my calls are up to over 300 in less than 90 days.

The overseas call center connecting to One Digital in ******* is clearly recorded.  I have talked to people at ************** and they admit that they called me, the company is Onedigital.com, and they didn't care that they have been told to stop calling.  On one of these recorded calls your agent suggested I needed to adjust my telephone spam settings if I didn't want to get their calls.

I am a disabled veteran & have been on the ***s Do Not Call list for years.  I am not of ******** age and I absolutely do not need health insurance, as all of my needs are covered by the VA Healthcare system as my injuries were service related.  My number was stolen when the Equifax security breach happened, which ended up being sold to shady telemarketers.

I tried calling both ****************** and the ******* HQ numerous times each over several weeks.  The either didnt care or just would not return my calls.  I then sent an email complaint to their CEO *************************, executives ***********************, *******************************, ********************, ****************, and the regional director ****************************  None of them ever even responded, and when I attempted to send a follow-up complaint I discovered they just BLOCKED MY EMAIL ADDRESS, so I used a different address to send a 2nd complaint to ****************************  Still no response.

I have a full list of the calls, showing dates, times, and subject of the cold call.  I also look up each number and many have histories of other illegal telemarketing tactics.  On the recorded call that is on ******** it is clearly shown that One Digital and their call center work hand in hand.  They didn't even have to say anything when they connected me to *******, other than the name and age I gave them.

You tell your criminal call center partner that I have testified for the *** in the past for other cases, and that I now record all telemarketing calls.

One Digital was caught red-handed.  The other complaints online shows a history of cold calling but my ******* video proves it.  Not to mention the refusal to return any of my numerous calls and your exec team blocking my email address after the initial complaint was sent to them.  No reply - just blocked me and the calls continue.

This is a dangerous company who engages in malicious harassment of a disabled veteran who is house bound as he has been rated as unable to work because of the injuries. The more I complain, the worse the call attacks seem to get.  This is why I sent the recordings to several ******* news TV stations.

I am now up to over 300 calls, and it has not even been 90 days.

You watch that video and then come back and say it was not your company.  The One Digital agent was identified as ***************************** of *******.  His insurance agent license number is *******.  He can be reached at ************** along with all the other people who receive transfers in from your overseas call center.

    Sincerely,

    *************************
