I was contacted by Legal Dogs LLC in early September, 2023, saying they would like to speak to me about a matter before "judgement" was passed on the "case". I talked to a woman, ****************, who said I owed money on an old credit card bill. I agreed to pay in installments, monthly. Unfortunately, I gave them my information. I had to call them to tell them I can't make a payment, and cannot reach them. I have called the "direct" phone line I was given by ************************,and the message was the phone was not set up to take phone calls. I have emailed them, I've called the business number several times, at different times during the day. I have now come to the conclusion that I've been scammed. I feel so foolish. I probably was intimated because they used the term "judgement" when they initially contacted me. These types of businesses are horrible and not be allowed to do business. At the very least, they should be investigated. I'm now seeing a correlation between my contact with this business, and the fact that only a few weeks later, my bank account was hacked.

A company called Legal Dogs Legal Investigations called me on 9/14/2023 and 12 noon and stated I owed $4,000 on a delinquent credit card from 2006 and that they will seek legal action if I dont pay it. Upon reviewing my credit report that showed no such delinquency, and reviewing many complaints against this company online, I left them a voicemail that I had no such delinquency. They responded with a voicemail indicating that if you want to believe all the stuff online then you are obviously one of those people who believe laser beams cause forest fires. What? Using another issue to divert the issue at hand. These people are thugs. BEWARE if you receive a call from them.

This place called me to inform me of a credit card that was opened in ***************************************************************** 2018. Mind you, I have never had a *********** credit card. They claimed the balance was $4,000 and I could pay in full now, or I could go to court and pay the $16,000 in late fees and attorney fees associated with the account. When I asked for details, they told me they couldn't give details unless I went to court. I asked why it wasn't on my credit report and they claimed that they don't want to hurt my credit scores. This place has my social security number, a few previous addresses, the names of my family members, and who knows what else!!!I told them I would not give any information and would refer them to my attorney and was hung up on. When I called back to get the name of the company, the same rude lady yelled at me and hung up on me again. Please help me understand how they had all of my personal information? Is this a result of a information breech? How do I stop them from giving my personal information out to others?

They have called several times in the last week claiming there is "pending legal action" When I did talk to them they claimed I owed a ridiculous amount of money including "legal fees and interest" on a debt I know nothing about from 2006. I have ******* credit and have ZERO delinquent debt. They then threatened me that if I didn't respond there would be a case filled. This is a predatory debt collection agency.

This company has changed their name, yet again. It was ***.org and they are claiming my elderly parent had a **** credit card more than 5-7 years ago. This is completely FALSE!!!!!! The only reason they have my elderly parent's information, as they were hacked last fall 2022 and their information went out on the black web. This was all reported to the local authorities, immediately. I am not getting calls on my cell for this FALSE debt and they are harassing me. These people need to be reported to the *** and have legal action taken against them. I cannot imagine if an elderly person gets a call like this and then gives out all of their personal information. Even my local authorities told me this place is a SCAM!!!!!!

They called stating that I owed for a credit card that was opened in 2008 and in good standings until 2016. Stated that it was through ******************** and it had been taken over by lawyers in effort to collect!! Stated that I couldn't get documentation unless it was taken to court, but also offered to settle out of court. They called from ************* a woman by the name **** answered when I called back. They left voicemail asking for return call to **********************.The woman I spoke to was very rude and short tempered, never gave her name or the company name she was calling from. Spoke really fast and got upset when I asked her to repeat info. Stated that I would be served and would have to show in court to dispute if it wasn't settled now. They also had my SSN and other personal info. I called back to get more info and was transferred to same rude lady and she was upset that I was calling back and stated why are you calling back after you refused to settle.

I received a call claiming they had a complaint on file and asked for a call back. I called back and they gave the last four digits of my SSN and asked me to confirm additional digits. I refused to give them my SSN so they hung up on me. I called back to see if there was another way to confirm my identity, but they just said I would have to discuss it the Judge, insinuating legal action against me and hung up again. I have not received any notification of any legal action against me. I called back and they said I would be placed on hold or they would block my number. The representative was hostile to my inquiries and refusal to give my SSN. I believe this is an identity theft scam. I have never done business with them before this call.

Called many times threatening legal action over a non-existent account. Offers to you to voluntarily settle or face legal action. It is a scam and they should be arrested.
