    I am being charged twice for the same hospital visit except they are collecting from two different debt collectors and have them listed a day apart and I only visited on one day October 21 2018 but they have me being charge for the 21st and the 22nd as if they billed me twice one day after the other. I am fine paying the one visit because I did go but I am not going to pay the same hospital bill twice! And Im pretty sure its illegal to try to collect the same debt twice! This is negatively impacting my credit and I need this FIXED ASAP !

    James River Emergency group has put this medical bill on my credit. I disputed it through credit karma and they removed it in February of 2023, because at the time I had ******** and it should have covered my services. James River then removed it but then it they sold my collection to another company and it was re-added back to my credit report in May of 2024. This is an ongoing fight with them to contact ******** in order to receive payment and the ******** office claims that the services were paid for while James River emergency group refuses to acknowledge it was paid for so here it sits still on my credit report for no reason than false reporting of an unpaid account

    I recently did a credit check and discovered that two separate charges were turned over to collections , one from five months ago and the other one was from four months ago and I have never been to their business nor have I ever received any type of bill or letter from them. Both outstanding bills are for the same amount and when I contact them and try to talk to billing about this it never gets transferred, it just hangs up and it's hurting my credit report and I would like them to fix this problem.

    I looked at my credit report and saw a collection in the amount of $505 opened on Nov 7 of 2023. I have NEVER received services from James River emergency group. There is nothing like that around where I live. I received ZERO emergency services in Nov of 2023. I've also been on ******** since 2016. I demand to know what this is and why it's on my credit report. If someone is using my information I need to know about it ASAP. Please look into this. I see complaint after complaint regarding James River emergency group.

    I was injured at work. I was given paperwork for the emergency room. I gave the paperwork to the emergency room intake person. It was to be covered by worker's compensation. My hand was broken. I was put in a cast and referred to a orthopedic surgeon. Who got paid for services. I have called about this bill over the last 7 years. I was told that I didn't provide information to the providing physician to get paid. I have said several times. I provided the same information to the intake person. They filed for the emergency room fees. And have been paid. But they didn't bill for the physician fees. I have been told by the very rude ***************** that I didn't provide information to the physician so they could get paid. I have asked questions about why the 2 were not filed at the same time. Again I am Informed that the Information was not provided. It was 1 piece of paper. If there were 2 bills than they should have made a copy and filed according. Now this has been on and off my credit report for 7 years. I don't know why it was billed incorrectly. I don't know anything about why one was paid not the other. There was a billing issue. I should be billed for something that they have people who are supposed to bill didn't bill. I never received a EOB. It went directly to the corporate office. So I have nothing to give anyone ad I didn't get anything sent to me. I want this off my credit report for good.

    James river Emergency group has the balance of ***** posted to my credit. Its affecting my credit score. Ive always had Medicate and this outstanding balance has been on my credit report since 2017. I was told that it was removed because I have ******** but it still shows account status OPEN.. I DEMAND James River to remove the outstanding balance off my credit.So I can move forward in life, because of this companys accusations, I cant get ahead in that BALANCE is hindering so TAKE THIS OFF MY CREDIT ASAP! I dont owe the company!

    Dear Sir or Madam,

    Thank you for contacting James River Emergency Group LLC regarding the above referenced patients complaint, we appreciate the opportunity to respond. 

    The account in question relates to Emergency Department visits made back in 2018.  According to our billing methods,statements pertaining to the dates of service in question were mailed to the address ****************** Apt G ********, ** ***** rendered by ***************, due to no insurance on file.  To date, there has been no return correspondence indicating that the mailing address was incorrect.  Below, please find the timeline of statements mailed:

    For date of service July 23, 2018, three statement were mailed on July 29, 2018, September 02, 2018 and October 07, 2018.  Due to no response, the account was relinquished to our collection vendor on October 28,2018.


    If there is anything further needed from us, please let us know and we will respond in a timely manner.

    I have never had services or been treated by James River Emergency Group. $790.00 is on my credit report last reported on 01/20/24. They have sent this to a collection agency by the name of ************************. On my account it is listed as an open account. I have not received any type of formal or supporting documentation from them or the collection agency explaining this account. Yet it is on my credit. I dont even know where this company is located.

    A fraudulent balance of $505 was charged to my account 05/15/2023- with no knowledge of this information never used these services and has now gone into collections affecting my credit score as of 09/15/2023- I demand this to be removed immediately!
