We agreed on the $1445.00 plus another 2 hours at ****** per hour. The mover showed up late and intoxicated every day. He did not move everything because there was no more room on his truck the first time. In the beginning I told him to come and see everything to make sure he had enough room and to bring 4 men on moving day. He shows up with 2 men (including himself) and complains about the amount of property I had. It went downhill from there. The owners have been trying to steal money from my bank account: An account that I never gave them access to or knew that they were aware of. They are refusing to release my household property and are continuing to hike up the price so that I cannot get my things delivered. I told them what I would pay and they agreed. When I presented credit cards, they through a fit and got ugly. They left me in the parking lot that night at 11 pm alone trying to get my makeshift bed into my car. They refused to take the credit card. **** said he doesn't take credit cards when his website clearly states they do. I went out the next day and purchased money orders. He refused those as well. They showed up intoxicated and late everyday for the move. It was impossible to reason with a drunk, and 4/20-high person. I offered money orders for the total amount and he said he wasn't taking money orders and that I had to give him the cash. Then I discover that his wife is trying to take additional money out of another of my bank accounts thru cash app, venmo, etc. My bank contacted me and told me that ****** had tapped my account over ten times through the cash app. Later, I get notifications that she was committing the same fraudulent acts through the other money apps. It appears that they are attempting to get several times the money we agreed on. We now have to go to court to get him to comply and return my property.

First of all the customer called to move to ******** when we got there. She wasnt even there then we loaded the truck and then she said she didnt want to go to ********. She want ** to put it in storage. We said okay my rate is 140 per hour for two men, 190 per hour for three man we work nine hours on Sunday I explained that I do not accept credit cards. She said okay, she would go to the bank when we got to the storage She still tried to pay me with the credit card and I explained to her that we collect before we unload. She said okay when we got there she didnt have the money so when that happens we hold your furniture until you can pay so she didnt call the next day, she called Tuesday so I explained to her that we have to collect before we unload when we get back. She wanted us to come back to her apartment and get more stuff. I said okay her total was **** Sunday when we got there Tuesday we were four more hours when we got back to the storage , she came out with two money orders. I dont think any moving company except money orders. She tried to pay me what she wanted to pay me doesnt work like that so we both called the police and they came and informed her that she needs to pay her bill that they cant make me  Work for free I have been reaching out begging and pleading for her to pay her bill so we can bring her furniture. She told me that she was gonna pay me what she wanted to pay me. If I dont accept it then its my problem, we work two days  With the total of 13 hours for her and she havent paid one dime I have a business to run and I still have to pay my workers I informed her that she will have a storage fee because it has been 16 days and she will not pay her bill and as far as being intoxicated we just have got finished with the job before her so that is incorrect information we need to be paid for our service. Thanks. Enjoy the rest of your day

    Complaint: 20290521

I am rejecting this response because: Atlanta Best 24/7 Movers Third Complaint 6-10-2024 Event on 07-2023 This mover lied about what they did. I have written BBB 3 times now about *******'s 24/7 Best Movers but only one letter is shown here. When I complained last time 12-14-23, BBB made excuses for the merchant & removed my complaint from this site. I am re-posting my concern & asking BBB to respond and to let the mover know that they should return my property. Why have you not asked for evidence that they kept my property? Why has BBB not required that *********************************** return my property? Letter sent 12-14-23, no BBB advocacy. Everything I stated in the first BBB complaint was true. This is a re-filing of my earlier complaint. The owner of 24/7 Atlanta's Best Movers is a liar and emboldened criminal. He told someone calling on my behalf that (after he has has held my property for 6 months), that he sold everything I owned. All my worldly goods-furniture, clothing, household goods, medications, arts and crafts, art work, paintings, my pets' belongings and memories. All my family pictures 5 generations are gone, TVs, computers, stereos, freezer, washer, jewelry, and rugs-everything gone. I have been trying to work with him for months to collect my belongings. Instead, he retaliated against me and chose to sell away my entire life's property. He somehow persuaded BBB not to investigate my claim and close off my case. This man *********************************** and his wife *********************** continued to try to steal money from my bank accounts they should have had no knowledge of. The companies of these money apps and my bank contacted me to alert me of the thefts and attempted thefts. Because of these people, I have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars of property. All they needed to do was to call or send a letter stating they wanted to sit down and negotiate a fair settlement with me. There is no way this A-rating is valid. How can you investigate a business by invalidating the victim's claims?

    Sincerely,

    *********************

I specifically explained that ********** refused the money orders and credit card payments I offered him.  So I called the police to the storage facility because this mover was holding my property and wouldn't take the money he had previously demanded.
