0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. BUYER BEWARE.Sundial Pools is unprofessional, abusive, manipulative, indignant and negligent.I waited a year for the owner *********************** to do his job. He was friendly and communicative until I signed the contract in May 2023. Then he went cold. I had the retaining wall done in July. He didnt show up for dirt backfill till end of September. (I thought Id be swimming by August.) ****** that time he only resisted my pleas and gave excuses for delays. He didnt buy my pool till November. Didnt install it till December. Gave more excuses and resistance all along the way. Never put chemicals in it. He didnt get the concrete guys for the deck to show up till March 2024. He missed the deck permit and never produced the design the city requested. Denied responsibility. He didnt get the electrician to show up till April. By the time the permit was approved in May 2024 (because I submitted the design myself, now an entire year after I signed the contract), he was resisting and making excuses for the concrete guys again: two weeks out, another two weeks out, later this week, coming next week, I dont control their schedule, etc, etc, etc.So I gave up after a year of abuse and neglect. My pool took seven months to appear and had been sitting in a dirt lot for another five months waiting for him to finish. He gaslighted me all along the way, as if I was the problem for complaining. Never apologized, never acknowledged what he put me through. Repeatedly declared he was not the general contractor for my project so he was not responsible. (I didnt think I needed a GC since Id hired a pool builder. Now I wish I had a GC to bully him back.) Its been a nightmare.There is no world in which taking a year to still not be finished with a fiberglass pool project is acceptable. Actually its inhumane. Do not do business with him.

I'm glad to see the BBB has been altered to this dreadful company. It took almost a year of lies, ghosted appointments, hearing complaints of lack of payment from the subcontractors they used on the project, excuse after excuse to finally get rid of them. Worse experience I have witnessed in dealing with a contractor on any job I have ever seen. Looks like they have gotten into the pool cleaning business vs building business as most of the positive reviews I have seen online come from that side and the other positive reviews seem to be mostly employees, friend and family members of the "builder". Buyer beware here.. it was an awful experience and one I would not wish on anybody.
