It is unfortunate that I need to write a bad review for Truth Roofing, however, I wouldn’t want any other potential client to experience what I have with this company. My biggest complaint is that the hip and ridge shingles were not installed in the manner advertised in the company’s brochure, and looks substandard. Additionally, the subcontractor who works for Chris B******, and did the work on my roof, broke a piece of siding on the chimney and left it that way. When I brought it to the roofing foreman’s attention, the subcontractor denied that his crew broke it and stated he would not fix it. His way of fixing the damage was to smear paint on it that did not match. I ended up hiring Mr. *** ****** from ******’s ******* and more, to repair the botched job, because Chris B****** would not answer or return my calls. It may also be noted that Mr. ****** did an excellent, quality job, matching the missing siding.

To whom this concerns We did reach back out and went back out the property. The problem is the design of the roof and the flashing that goes all the way across the front of the house and the fact that we upgraded the shingles to a Architectural and not a 3 tab which makes the ridge different. I was able to get the whole roof approved at no cost for the customer through her insurance and also like I mentionED WE upgraded her shingles at no charge! Ben Norman was an old employee of mine so I believe that their is some bitterness going on and not a reflection of my companies workmanship. I was never made aware of a broken piece or we would of repaired it for free too.

I recently solicited bids to replace the hail damaged roof on my pool house. I got three bids. Truth roofing's bid was way lower than the other two. I was delighted! They emailed me the bid terms and told me they would schedule the work after I sent an e-mail reply accepting the bid, which I did. A week or two later, a lady from their office called me to tell me when they would come do the work. That date passed without them coming. No one from Truth Roofing called me before or after they missed that scheduled visit. A week or two later, I called their office and asked if the job had been rescheduled. I was told that it had not been rescheduled so I asked to have someone call me. The lady told me that "Chris" would call me. A week or two passed without anyone from Truth Roofing calling me back. I again called and was told that someone would call. No one did after another week. Last week, I called and was told the same thing. I called them again later in the week and begged the secretary to have someone call me because there had to be some problem that I was not aware of. She told me that she would ask "Chris" to call me but he has not called. Clearly, they do not want to do this job. Maybe they decided it is too small a job or possibly that they had bid it too low. In any case, they have never returned any of my calls, so I am not sure what is wrong. They sent me their bid, I accepted the bid and they scheduled the job only to skip that date. The fact that they initially scheduled the job indicates Truth Roofing's acceptance of the contract. At the least, this is not a good way to do business and treat potential customers. At worst, it is a breach of contract. I recommend you do business with another roofer.

Truth Roofing's response to my review is pretty feeble. Their employee, Carl S***** sent me a copy of the contract with my signature on */**/2022. I will be happy to provide Truth Roofing or the BBB a copy of that document. I was never contacted regarding the need for a corrected estimate. Also, if your staff sent the corrected estimate to an invalid email address, all you had to do was call me to fix that problem. I called Truth Roofing at least five times and left both my home and cell numbers, so contacting me would have been easy. They made no effort to do so in spite of my many calls asking them to call me back. In my opinion, these people lack integrity. I stand by my original comments and I strongly recommend against using Truth Roofing.
