I would leave "NO STARS" but it's not an option. I am the wife of the owner of **************** and More in ******* **. I also do the accounting for ****************. My husband did work for ARK Restoration back around July and has NEVER been paid for the job. ******* had to pay its laborers with its own money, and we were never paid by ARK. It's a lot of money to a small company as ours. Liens have been filed already but to date ******* has still never been paid. by ***. *** is well aware of this. We've made numerous calls and sent numerous emails trying to get it resolved. Excuse after excuse. News gets around quickly in the subcontractor world. Not paying my husband for the work he did, even after all this time has put a financial burden on us. You're not paying **************** isn't just affecting a company name... it's affecting our family. Negotiating with our mortgage company to save our home because we couldn't make the mortgage payments because we were counting on the pay for work that was performed is just NOT GOOD all the way around. It's horrible. The stress and tension this has and is still causing in our home. In our personal network we have come across other people/companies that have been done similarly to us when they did work for ***. Next step on our end is to have our attorney handle this through the court system. I'm truly shocked to hear how many times this has happened to others. I won't share the names, but it's a tree removal company (longtime family friend), a flooring company (our son in law) and us Phoenix Flooring. This is NOT good business, and I am taking it personally because it effects our family's livelihood. I've been thinking about making a visit to the ********** to discuss this in person but for now I opted for the BBB review. I hope we hear from *** soon and get this resolved but if not, our attorney is lined up to do so very soon. **** and *******

Water damage in kitchen. Flooring, cabinets replaced. From the time an estimater appeared and work done 160 days passed. Five months we lived on plywood floors with a stove, fridge, and camp table.I never want to hear their name again and if they cease business, I will gladly salt the earth upon which they stood.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with your loss. Insurance claims can be hard to navigate and can take a lot of time to close. I want to outline your assignment with ARK just as an overview of your project. ARK received your assignment on March 12th. We inspected your property on March 18th to compose the repair estimate and submitted your estimate to the vendor program that same day for review. The estimate was under vendor review and then was finally approved by your adjuster on April 2nd. We reached out to you to let you know that the repair estimate had been approved and we would be sending over the contract for your review and signature. We received those documents back from you on April 8th. The project manager reached out to you and scheduled for the initial walkthrough on April 10th. During this time the project manager met with you onsite to discuss the repair project and started the selections process for your materials. We placed orders, scheduled for countertop template and waited for materials to come in. We received most of the materials and went ahead and started the job May 25th. There was a delay with the flooring materials that we continued to monitor for your project and kept your updated on as well. The repair work was completed on August 21st. We did have some trouble getting a date scheduled to get the *** signed, but received a signed copy back on September 15th. I wanted to list out the project timeframe as we did work diligently to repair your home and get things back to normal for you. We do strive to be better everyday and thank you for your feedback.

After a huge tree came through the end of our house we called ARK to do the Restoration. It took them a year to restore my home! They didnt even start work on it until 6 months in; except for removing the carport off my car after 3 months! We exhausted all of our insurance housing funds due to their lag time! They held our household furniture hostage until I signed the certificate of completion! I didnt have any more funds to stay in a hotel; so I needed back in my house! I had no recourse but to sign. They promised they would finish the work and make everything right! Was I a fool! I now have a leaking roof, a French door that doesnt close properly and a buckling hardwood floor that has shown up because of the water damage that they never checked out! They sanded it down and said it was fine! They said that their work is warrantied for only a year!!! I have asked numerous times for invoices and a warranty for the work done; especially for the roof! Now almost 3 years and nothing! If you call them for a problem, You will regret it and the work that they did do is quite shoddy!! They cut corners on all the materials and hired unlicensed workers that showed up only sometimes!! I could write a book on the discepencies, and this is only the tip of the iceberg and the inconvenience I was put through for a year.

Dear ****,We sincerely apologize for the distress and inconvenience you experienced during the restoration of your home. We understand that the process was lengthy and frustrating, and we regret that it did not meet your expectations.Regarding the delays, we aimed to ensure that all work was approved by your insurance carrier before proceeding to prevent any financial liability on your part for non-covered work. This approval process unfortunately contributed to the initial delays. We are sorry to hear that you felt pressured to sign the certificate of completion. It is never our intention to make our customers feel coerced. The completion certificate is a standard procedure and a requirement to release the final payment from your insurance and confirm the restoration work's conclusion. We also address this in the beginning of all of projects with the homeowner before signing contracts or any work begins. We regret that you are experiencing issues with the roof, French door, and hardwood floor. Some of those concerns too were not issues we had approval to address from your carrier. Our limited one-year warranty on craftsmanship is outlined in the contract signed at the project's outset. However, we understand your concerns and wish we could have been notified sooner regarding your repair concerns so we could address this for you in a timely manner. The invoices and warranty documents for the work done should have been provided to you. We apologize for any oversight in not delivering these promptly and will ensure they are sent to you immediately.Your feedback about the quality of work and materials, as well as the professionalism of our contractors, is taken very seriously. We strive to maintain high standards and will investigate these claims thoroughly to ensure they do not occur in the future. We genuinely regret the inconvenience and hardship you endured.Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention.Sincerely,The ARK Restoration Team

Arc restoration was contacted by our insurance company to do the work after water entered our home . They came and in 45 min they were gone . They charged our insurance a rate then proceeded to try to get another **** from us directly. We asked them for a itemized bill. We were being charged for work they never did. I contacted my insurance company after we were threatened by their offices and they will not be giving them any new work . They were appalled we were being treated like this only 10 days after receiving the first invoice BEWARE !
