  We contacted Dependable Roofing in July of this year concerning some loose roofing tiles and to see if there was storm damage to roof. ***** called us back and let us know that he had taken over business and it is now Chase ********************* Said he would come out and check. He did come out in a few days and contacted us about results. He provided us pictures of the roof. He wanted some information about when roofing work was done and we told him we were out of town and would get back with him. We contacted him the next week and it went to voice mail. We have tried numerous times to contact ***** and always goes to voice mail and he has not returned our calls. We would like to know what is going on.

  The roof was installed in Dec. 2015 but there were issues with the installation. I did point this out to Pat the owner during installation. I have had spotting in the ceiling, multiple leaks and sheet rock damage since then. I continuously reach out to Dependable Roofing and Pat. To his credit he has come out but the fixes are just band aides on the bigger issue of a faulty roof. The roof should not be having issues. I should not have to keep calling him with leaks and spotting and issues. This does not indicate a job well done or a quality job or product. I paid for a dependable roof and did not get one. The latest leaks are happening now on 12/26/2023. I have sent Pat photos and detailed the issues. He claims it's because of pipe jacks or roof vents. This is not the case. The leaks are at the front of the house no where near pipe jacks or roof vents. The roof was never right to begin with and *** needs to take responsibility for a job that was never done correctly to begin with and had plagued me with years of issues.

  We completed the roof replacement on this home December of 2015. The homeowner did have a leak. The leak was due to an exhaust vent movement which unsealed the vent. The vent was resealed at that time. The homeowner recently contacted about a new leak from Dec, 26,2023. I explained to the homeowner that we would be happy to come look at the issue and provide a price on the repair pending the issue. The homeowner supplied that she had had three roofers look at the roof and one had told her she had nail pops, and there was an issue with installation. I attempted to send someone to look at the roof, but the homeowner had other roofers scheduled to come and could not accommodate the appointment. 
  
  While we are sorry the homeowner is having issues, we firmly believe that the cause of the leak is not due to workmanship but due to nail pops, and vents that need to be resealed.  The roof is 8 years old, and it is good practice for a homeowner to have their roof maintained and seal the pipe jacks and vents every 7 years. 
  
  I am attaching a copy of the contact that was signed by the homeowner. The back side on line 22 provides the workmanship warranty and provides that service warranties are available at an additional cost.

  I have spoken to one of your contractors that you referenced in relation to having your roof checked. They provided the two attached photos. One photo is of a low nail the other is a nail pop. I will be happy to send out one of the installers to replace the shingle that is low nailed. The nail pop is not related to shingle installation and happens as the roof expands. Please let me know if you would like the shingle replaced with the low nail .
