Horrible company to get insurance through. They will take your money for the cancer policy but as soon as the diagnosis comes out they want to deny the claim! Horrible business!Review from Bradley P

Aflac is a fraud like other's have stated. I was hospitalized and unable to work due to a ***** problem at the end of ******** 2024. File claim #1 was denied called was told I filed the wrong form so was sent the forms they said to file filled them out was denied stating they do not cover that ***** problem. Went back to work and promptly went to the office manager and cancelled my policies. Aflac is the biggest bunch of scam artists I've come across. Wished I would of known that before I got there policies. Stay away from themReview from Tammy F

Negative marks. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I spoke with Mr Charles H***** on Jan *** and on Jan * I emailed him and tried to call him to cancel both policies that were set up with him. We felt the cost for both policies was way too expensive, which they were. Well he didn't cancel them like he said he would. so here it is the first of the month and out comes the payment for policies that were supposed to be canceled. Now I have overdraft fees for something that wasn't to happen. I called customer service and spoke with rude, condescending, and disrespectful people at Aflac. They said my account would be cancelled in 14 days and I will get the remaining balance back in 21 days. If I wanted it sooner that I should contact my bank. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they person whose name is Ike said he was a supervisor ( doubt it) and would not let me speak with anyone else. If you want to save yourself a lot of stress and worry DONT EVER DO BUINESS WITH CHARLES H***** OR AFLAC.Review from David L

I’m still fighting with them over a claim for 2 and a half months now. They’ll keep it open for a couple of weeks and then deny it then immediately open a new one and repeat the process. I talk to them on the phone twice a day to no avail and we repeat the process. This has been the worst experience of my life. As soon as I am done with this claim whether I have to get an attorney or not I am going to drop them like a bad habit.Review from Marc I

This letter should serve as a public warning for Aflac Dental. I had looked forward to a good experience and gave much time effort to help the company provide that (when I reached a person, they were all very nice and helpful). Most frustrating is their manual and slow process for submitting claims which includes no immediate confirmation that the claim was received. Next is the items they decide not to cover that should go hand-in-hand, e.g., provisional crown while the permanent is being created. Looking through all the fine print now, I can now confirm that for almost every scenario, you'll be ahead if you simply save the cost of premium every month in your savings account and use it for expenses as needed. My hope for this complaint is that the public is better informed. Had the claims process been better, perhaps I would not have cancelled. I suggest they stop this false advertising of paying claims fast. Good luck, hope Aflac improves.Review from Jessica W

Poor service. I have been paying since July 20** and I have attempted to get a claim paid for the ***** of my child on *** *** ****, But since I received a promotion WITHIN my own company in May- they claim he is a "pre-existing condition" and won't pay me my disability. I have been fighting with them for 3 weeks trying to get this resolved. My job has also sent over proof that I have been paying and they are still giving me the runaround. Its been 6 weeks total i have not worked, and have no income. Everytime i call they "reach out to the back office" and nothing changes.Review from Kim F

“Easy to use” website doesn’t tell you about info needed to file. Phone menu is a nightmare. There is NO REASON to pay for a service you’ll never get. It takes MONTHS for claims to go through. Necessary information intentionally withheld so they don’t have to pay out. Just save your money. If AFLAC is the only option at your work, definitely worth finding a new job.Review from Heather T

THIEVES & LIARS! My *** had a cancer policy she paid into for close to 20 years, unfortunately she did get cancer. They did pay her a few times until the last rather large check. They allowed her sister to illegally change the address, my husband being POA & Executor luckily caught it in time & had the check stopped/canceled. So, they sent a 2nd check to our address as she was in hospice care at this point, this check they put into his dad's name (his dad passed away in ****) and they don't seem to know how to read a legal POA document as NONE of them could grasp that after his dad's passing per the last will & testament it appointed my husband....this was four whole lines down so super confusing I guess? During this time my husband must have called over a dozen times & we of course recorded these calls. Every single rep was a MORON!!! We got the run around every day....they told us numerous times it would be overnighted as we needed it for funeral expenses & then it never came. They then wanted the Executor paperwork as during this time his mother passed away. Keep in mind he's the POA (financial & medical). So, jump through this hoop & sent same day & surprise they STILL DIDN'T OVERNIGHT THE $! Again, these conversations are recorded!! They are a joke & we still have yet to see the money!!Review from Rosalind L

Have had Aflac for many years. Company now takes anywhere from 2-4 weeks to post my payments via ********** bill pay. Called with no help, even wrote a letter almost 2 months ago. Ha! After reading their business reviews I understand. Disappointed that a good company has gone sour.Review from Beatrice P

I have had Aflac for years and I was recently hospitalized for a surgery. In hospital for * days. Aflac refused to pay the hospital indemnity and any other claims I had filed. They told me that they only pay one claim per year now. They have changed and I would NOT recommend them to anyone. They are a Fraud.
