  ******* ******-******* with ATL Tax Solutions processed my federal and state tax for 2023. My forms were processed on February 22, 2024. I was told I would owe federal $1209 and get a refund from State $801. I asked not to submit my tax documents until close to the filing deadline. When I went to her office on March 27, 2024, I was told she had to remove my deceased husband's name as from the documents and she apologized for the initial error which this created an increase in me owing federal $2210. Ms. ******* agreed due to her negligent to help me pay the difference ($1209). I agreed and gave her my debit card which she charged the full amount $2210. She gave me badly printed documents (stating her copier needed work) with Client Copy embossed across them and said she would mail and email my original 1040-SR copies. She did not give me a receipt that day and when I checked my bank account that when I realized she actual charged me the full amount of $2210. I tried calling her but could only leave a message. I never received original copies of my documents. I have called her numerous times with no response. I have gone by her office only to find the door locked. I left a note, as recent as early October, if I did not hear from her, I would contact the BBB, with no avail. This young lady processed taxes for my husband and me in March 2022. My husband passed away two (2) weeks later. She made a $300 error on the federal form (should have been a red flag for me). But I allowed her to process taxes for me in 2023.
