I had my car in GINN for repairs. My windshield was crack before the accident. While it was in GINN , they wanted to know if I would like them to replace the windshield. I give the ok. They took it to ****** for calibration. I started having problem with the dash broad lights coming on. I took it to ********************* 3 times to get it repair. They never fix the problem with the lights. I took it to *************************. They identify the problem. They said it was the braces on the camera. They asked if I had my windshield change. I said yes. They told me to take it back to whoever replaced the windshield. Before I took it to GINN, I stop by *********************, **** said it was not their fault because even though they calibrated it they did not have to touch the camera. I took it to GINN and they blame ******. They said ****** could not calibrate it if the brackets was broken. No one wants to take responsibility. ****** blame GINN and GINN blame ******. And I am left to deal with the flashing lights in my car.

The business general manager ************************* reached out to me on 9/18/23.  He said that I should have never had to be sent back and forth from ****** to GINN Motor.  He said they have order a new windshield from the dealer and they meaning GINN and ****** will handle it together to resolve the problem.   ********************** said they will call me when it comes in.  As long as they do what they said to fix the problem, I am happy with the resolution.

Good morning,I recently purchased a 2014 Silverado from Ginn Chevrolet. I inspected the truck personally found some parts had been replaced (catalytic converters) which gave me a little more assurance it was properly maintained given the amazing car fax of documented maintenance. The truck had ******* when purchased. One week passed the check engine light came on. I took the truck to Ginn and it was scanned and showing the catalytic converters as failed. I spoke with a sales manager *********************** who told me after inspecting the truck that because it was recently replaced and I hadnt put 250 miles on the truck (******* I believe at this point) and they would look into helping me. They priced the cayts through their parts department at $3000 and asked if I would be willing to put the truck in an exhaust shop and they would just cut a check. I never heard back from ******* after calling numerous times left two voicemails. I finally resorted to leaving a review on their ******** page which the general manager responded to. I followed his request to reach out to him directly via email. I emailed him a week ago and yet to have received a response. This is downright bad business and all I would like to resolve this because this is a federal emissions component that they do the right thing and replace them. They misrepresentation of their inspection is also something that should be noted. I hope that this can get resolved

I'm sorry to hear this customer is unhappy with his vehicle. However as soon as I spoke with the customer we made arrangement to get his vehicle in. As of this date the vehicle has been repaired to the customer's satisfaction.  Also I've not received any previous request from BBB on this customer.

I paid almost $800 for my car repair only to find out I needed a battery, who did I find it out from? Ginn Motor, the same day I went to pick it up , it has to be jumped off. Thats the reason I got it towed there. They offered nothing to me, only for me to pay $200 to get a battery put in. They have no proof (that they gave me) that my car even needed the alternator they put in or that my battery had passed the test when the car was first towed there. They offered no diagnostic documentation and failed to do a Multipoint Inspection on my car. My daughter was so upset to the point of tears and instead of offering an explanation of what went wrong they called the police lying saying that she got in the service managers face. The police came and left without incident because she did nothing wrong. I have a picture of their statement saying they drove the vehicle to verify the repair was complete and the receipt saying the battery is shot. I went to a certified Chevy service center knowing that I may have to pay more but with the expectancy that my car would be fixed. I had to consult with another repair shop to get a cheaper battery. My brother called and talked to the owner and he expressed that I could come back in for them to do an inspection on my car for free, but its not free because it was supposed to be included with the service. Id also like to mention that the service staff was rude all but the ***

Customer had vehicle towed in to our shop on 03/25/2022. Customer stated that car wouldn't stay running after jump starting. Service tech determined that alternator was not recharging battery due to internal failure of alternator. Customer approved replacement of alternator and belt. Customer was informed that battery was tested and passed, but may not last due to the drain from the car running on battery alone. Upon customer picking up vehicle, vehicle would not start. Vehicle was jumped off and stayed running. Service retested battery and it tested negative. Customer was given the price of a GM replacement battery and declined the battery. Customer choose to purchase battery else where. Customer called later in the day and said that the a/c wasn't working. Fuses was checked and found to be working properly. Customer was informed that it appeared to be a communication problem within the module of the a/c unit, and this was unrelated to the alternator. Customer was offered a loaner vehicle to allow us to diagnose the exact cause of failure. Due to customer not having full coverage insurance this wasn't possible Customer stated she was taking her car and would make arrangement to bring it back. At that point, the person with the customer who was identified as her daughter became belligerent and started screaming profanity. She was told to please wait in her car. She refused, and then she was asked to leave and not return to our dealership.

Customer daughter was belligerent and profanity speaking any time she was involved. She had been asked several times to calm down and not use profanity.

I am rejecting this response because the dealership did not inform me that anything was wrong with my battery at the time that my vehicles issues were being discussed. They also are refusing to acknowledge that my air and heat were running before I brought it into their dealership but wasnt when I picked my car up. The manager went as far to say that I shouldve went to the dealership I bought my car from to get it fixed despite their shop being cheverolet certified. The matter with my daughter is irrelevant to what they have done to my car, especially since the police had no words for her and left without incident and the fact that they are not offering to fix what went wrong with my car while in their care speaks volumes to their ethic and confidence in their technicians. This dealership said they would fix my car, they fixed my alternator , took $751 from me and sent me on my way, their customer service was not acceptable and contrary to their belief they do have an obligation to fix my car. I have a Chevrolet representative working a claim also, this situation needs a resolve, they should own up to what they have done and fix my car. They can say my heat and air problem is unrelated but can they prove it? Can they prove my battery passed the test and my alternator failed the first time? Wheres the paper trail? I was taken advantage of by this business. They should want to do what is right.

I am rejecting this response. I did not request certain repairs, I brought my car to a certified cheverolet service shop and they told me what was wrong with my car, they suggested I get my alternator replaced, they told me my battery passed the test , they said that they drove my car to confirm that the repair was complete. After all of this and $751 they had to jump my car off to bring it to me , they were rude and inconsiderate, they called the cops when my daughter understandably got upset, they deflected all responsibility pass replacing my alternator as though I did something wrong and the final slap to the face was telling me that I should have went back to the place I brought my car from to get it fixed. They need to correct their mistakes and offer a resolve because they were the ones who caused this to happen. My air and heating were working before my car went into their shop and now its not. Ginn motor company needs to right their wrongs. Simple and plain.

    Sincerely,
