I called on 11/28 the first time and was hung up on so I called right back and got an agent. To which I advised that I am no longer able to afford my original payment arrangement of 185.63 as my financial situation had changed and I needed to change my payment method and lower my payment amount. The woman who answered the phone advised she was unable to assist and she had to get the managers approval. Now I could not understand this as this is a huge inconvenience to me. I have a job and I took time away to get this resolved, this was around 11 and she said I would get a call back. To which she did at around 3ish to which she advised me that my Nov payment declined (I knew that which is why I called) and they had to wait until my Dec payment goes through and they can set me up on 100 a month. First off no one asked me what I could afford. My son just had wrist surgery the previous week. It to mention this facility double charged me for the one ultrasound because they looked at both my breast but only used one machine. They never asked me for a new payment method now they are holding the payment method that will decline as a hostage and the manager never called me back to discuss. I’m not playing phone tag to try and resolve a medical debt. Is this company going to reimburse my time at 25 dollars an hour? Are they going to reimburse my time for the day I went down there where they took all day when they had literally no patients and I had to take off work? Are they going to apologize for their doctors unprofessional behavior for coming into the room and having me undress and having the ultrasound tech look at me again while I’m half naked so he can see me? No I don’t think so? When a patient calls to resolve a medical debt you would think a facility would have the staffing to take care of that patient in full not play “I have to get a managers approval and hold your card hostage” which I will add is against the FDCPA and CFPB.

on 4/8/2022 i went to dalton imaging to receive an ordered MRI of my cervical spine. I was told the company was in network and my cost, applied to my deductible, was $1086.99 which i paid. I have since had additional medical bills that have met my deductible. my bill for my MRI was never submitted to my insurance and therefore the $1086.99 was not applied to my deductible. I have called many times to get this issue resolved and am told a different story every time. I called BCBS on 10/5 and was told that this provider is not in network with any bcbs plan. Dalton imaging continues to tell people they are in network as of today, 10/5. They state they are having "issues" with bcbsga but offer no resolution or even a plan for resolution. Pretty much insinuated we are lucky they have not billed us the remaining "balance" and are putting it as insurance liability. The fact this is a known issue and they CONTINUE to fraudulently accept patients and lie to them is unbelievable. I am asking for a refund of 80% of what was paid which my math calculates to be $869.59.
