Cardinal Financial is the company that holds the mortgage on my home in ************. I have been on a bimonthly payment program for years since the beginning of my mortgage. Last month they took out the monthly payment in one lump sum causing my account to be overdrawn. I called to ask what happened and they said they made a mistake, it was a computer error, and they would correct it. They returned the whole amount not the half that they were supposed to. I called again and was told I would have to pay the whole amount for this month and the whole amount for next month to activate the bimonthly plan. I explained that this situation was not my fault, and it would be impossible for me to pay what they were requesting. Once again, they apologized since this was due to a change in their computer system. They said I had to pay the whole amount for September and the Bimonthly agreement would start again with a payment on the 11th and the 24th of October. I very reluctantly agreed and borrowed money to pay the entire month of September. They read the contract and we both agreed on the terms, and I then paid them the entire amount. I later got a call from them telling me I was denied the plan when I asked why all he could say was there was no reason given. I would now have to pay them another full months payment for October before the bimonthly payments could resume. I was strongly armed to pay the full monthly payment for September since I was told that was the only way to start the plan. Once the payment was processed, they rescinded the agreement by telling me I was denied and needed to make another full payment. This whole thing occurred because of something they did which they apologized continuously for so I feel that they are using this to force me into a situation that will cause me financial burden and must pay them extra fees. With my mortgage in limbo I have financial and emotional stress since all my bills are falling behind . I need a quick end!
