On 12/27/24, I contacted Jaguar Installation for my dryer. The gentleman quote me $260 to come out. He arrived at my house around 8:30pm. He began taking my dryer apart and asked me to clean the dust and lent out. He stated that I needed a new sensor. He went outside and stated that he had to replace the screen outside. He came back in my house and proceeded to put my dryer back together. He advised me that I needed to replace the dryer hose and it needed cleaned out. He stated that he could do it. I asked him what was the price and he quoted $160. I was very hesitant on this because the amount was now $420. I spoke of it being 2 days after Christmas. I went in my living room and spoke to my wife to see if we were able to afford the amount. I went back in to my kitchen (where the dryer is located) and asked him what was the total amount for everything. He told me $260. My wife and I thanked him so and agreed to this amount. He proceeded to clean the hose, and changed the screen outside. Once he was done, he had me check the dryer to make sure it was working properly. It did and I walked him to my garage (so he could get to my driveway where he parked). I proceeded to pay him by ***** for the amount of $260. He acknowledged it went through and he left. About 15 minutes later, he calls my phone and state that I did not pay him to right amount. He mentioned his boss called wondered what was done and how much he charged. It was a back and forth debate and he stated he was coming back to my house. He arrived at around 10pm and the 2 of us spoke in my garage. It was a lot of back and forth to the point my wife called my phone to make sure things were ok. He stated that I needed to pay a total of $540. I told him I could not and to call his boss. He did not. We finally agreed to $320 ($260 + $120). He left and the police arrived at my house because he called (while in my driveway waiting on me to open my garage). I advised them things were worked out and they left.
