  I needed to take our 2020 Nissan Frontier in to the dealership for a recall on 2/21/23. I asked the mechanic at Mtn. view Nissan of Dalton at this time to check for a leak as I saw some wet spots on my driveway. I was notified by the service department that the mechanic found the lower oil pan to be over tightened at the drain plug causing damage to the threads resulting in leakage. Therefore they would need to replace the lower oil pan and reseal. I was charged $527 for this to be done. The last oil change I had was at Southside Lube on 11/22/22. I had less than 3,000 miles on the vehicle when I took it to the dealership for the recall. I only change the oil every 5,000 miles. VIN# ****************** sent the owner a certified Letter explaining the situation and asking for reimbursement. In addition, I asked him for his cell number so I could provide him with pictures that the mechanic took at the dealership. I also asked him to respond with in 30 days. As this was clearly negligence from his establishment, I need to be reimbursed I can provide copies of all receipts. Any help you can provide for me will be greatly appreciated.
