  I wired $18,000 on 1/19/23 to Heavy Equipment Recyclers ******************************************************* ** for a used ********** with 300k miles on it. I have a text stating it was the exact same motor that we were replacing from our truck that broke down. The owner is ***************** **************. The motor we received was ( not ) an exact match and will not work in our truck, he sent a damaged motor beside having the turbos filled with water. He did not include the box from the top of the motor so the history of that motor could be checked out and he painted over the Vin# so we cant find out how many miles are on it. He refuses to refund our money and has promised to exchange the bad motor with the proper one but, wont do it. He keeps sending me scriptures to get me to give up on him or wear out my 6 month warranty. I dont know what to do to get my money back!

  I have spoken to ***** frequently regarding the situation. We initially requested a swap of the engine so that we werent out of any merchandise, but upon further review we are going to just send out a new motor with gaurantee that the initial motor will be returned. Unfortunately, the initial motor wasnt a plug and play as desired (which is generally common with used diesel motors). On a positive note, we have a wide variety of inventory that allows for quick resolution. As previously mentioned, we have been in constant contact with ***** so we are not sure as to why BBB intervention was needed, but we are very grateful this was brought to our attention and are already on the way to resolution.
