This store cost me lost of money for installing in May of last year an after factory Catalyst Converter in my **** Escape 2013 that cost over $2,100.00 with interest it came up to aroud $2,600.00 and it only worked for 2 weeks at most and I went back in spoke to a manager who wanted to look at my vehicle and he gave me a suggestion to buy a solution to unclog the Catalyst Converter and I purchased the solution from Auto zone and put it in the gas tank and followed the instructions and it still was doing the same things ex shaking and burning rich (burning lots of gas). Also while having my car initially my car was knocking and then I took it to Midas and they could not find the issue so they did a diagnostic and they also removed and replaced air intake tube which was broken which cost $346.68. I then took it to the **** dealer ship a week later and they also did diagnostic and told me it was a head gasket leak in which **** said the head Gasket was blown and I spent $2,138 to have this repaired/replaced. The **** dealership stated it was poor and piece was broken on the Catalyst Converter which Meineke actually saw but never corrected the issue. However my car was still not working correctly and I took to AJ auto repair and the owner stated that my Catalyst Converter was after market and that part also messed up my O2 censors which made the cars performance even poorer. Overall Meineke cost me a lot of unnecessary money. The run around when I have gone to the store in person twice, called over a dozen times to be told someone would call me back and no one has or told me who the owner of the store and corporate is of no help because this is a Franchise. I advise anyone be careful, keep all your receipts when getting service here and name of the people you deal with. This place is very unprofessional but I will be filing a suit
