This car was so run hot that it melted the plastic engine cover. Customer requested that car be sent specifically to *** of ****** ***** **. It was towed at ZERO cost to the customer. Customer informed us that *** charged her $600 more than amount quoted. Please note, the original complaint was a coolant leak and that the car was running hot. The Oring and Water pump fixed that. The customer returned days later with other problems at which time the customer asked us to take it to the dealership. While there, they replaced parts that had already been replaced, at her will and with her permission. They had the car for about 5 months while the car was also wrecked and damaged. From there, she was responsible for all charges, fees, etc. The invoice was different than the charges because, like stated on the door, our credit card processors charge a 3.5% fee on any and all card transactions. Customer has been here multiple times and was knowledgeable of this information.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The car was originally taken in because the engine coolant light came on. The coolant light repeatedly kept coming on even after the car was taken back several times even  after the series of repairs. Eventually, the business had replaced o-rings, seals, a new water pump and the engine cover which had cracked due to overheating  even after the repairs had been made. The last time the light came on was about one half mile from the time it left the shop. We requested that the vehicle b taken to the dealership because apparently they couldn't fix the problem. We did not request the dealership to replace the water pump, only that they fix the problem. I feel that I should be reimbursed for at least the cost of the turbo o-ring, water pump and associated labor. ...................

    Regards,
