February 2024 I bought a used *** X5 335i from this Company. They were asking $8,200. I offered and paid them $6,300.The next day the check engine light came on. I took it into them and the Mechanic cleared the check engine light. I drive it two days and the light came back on. I took it back to them. They said water was getting on the coils and showed us a way to rig it to keep rain off the coils. It did not work. The car has been a total money pitt and I tried to give them the benefit of Any doubt but the car does not run more than a week before it breaks down again! Everyone said the check engine light was on when I purchased the car they cleared it to get it sold. I am Single and on disability. I have put every ***** into this car with hopes to get it back to normal and running. now it has caught on fire from an oil leak while I was driving it! How can these people sleep at night knowing they sold a dangerous vehicle to a 61 year old woman on disability? No more benefit of the doubts I know they sold me a vehicle that had a check engine light on and they cleared it long enough to get cash in hand! It is Illegal in ******* to sell me a car with the check engine light on.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle from valid motors last month September 10th for $10,200. I got a loan through the bank that the company offered , and was told I was only approved for $7,700 so I needed to put $2500 down , that was fine we put the deposit down and then he begin too say that he needed $700 more down after we signed our paper work because the bank only approved us for $3200. I contacted the loan people *************** and was actually made aware that we was loaded $10,200 the full amount he was asking for the vehicle and that we didnt need to put anymore money down or didnt have to put any money down at all that the price was fully loaned. I contacted him and tried to resolve the issue he ignored me , my bank advised me not to give him anymore money as theyre investigating! Fast forward to today our dealer tag expired and we went to the tag office to figure out why we havent received our tag , they told us that they havent received any paper work on the vehicle for the tag and that theyre having a lot of issues out of the company with other peoples tags , I addressed the company and he told me that he didnt send off for the tag because he was up set I called the bank on him for asking us for extra money and that , it should of stayed between us. So now I am unable to drive my vehicle. I have all my paper work and documentation too prove everything!Initial Complaint

First I spoke with one of the owners named *******. He said that he could help me get a cash vehicle as a finance car. The car had some engine problems that he said if he fix he would charge 5 thousand dollars for, so initially I told him I had to come up with the down payment and he said that someone would probably get it before I came back and a month later he said that nobody was interested in it and if I was still looking to get it so I had to wait a few more weeks to get some money for it. The engine is still messed up the tires are dry rotting and several other things are wrong with the car I was told that to fix anything it would be an extra fee to fix. And I have a text stating that I'm behind on my car payments and they have been waiting patiently for me to come in and hurry up to pay because he sees that I am behind on my payments and need to go to the bank and get their money but i haven't even had the car for a month. I feel so disrespected because I have told several people about them to help with sales and I feel like if I'm paying almost 6 thousand for a car worth only **** in KBB value why not get better customer service I can't trade it for anything better and it's gonna cost so much more to get engine and other things fixedInitial Complaint

I dropped my commercial vehicle here because I was advised that they could assist me with service and repair. They took a month to look at the truck and diagnose my issues. They then suggested a new fuel pump that was needed, and stated that it would take some time to arrive. Two more months passed, and I was checking almost daily. The part came in, but they then needed time for someone to install. It was installed, and I was advised that I could pay my remaining balance and pick up. When I went to pick up, I was advised that there was a new issue with the truck. I have been checking almost daily and being told that they are "waiting on a new person to start and look at the issue." They have now had my truck for a total of six months, and the lack of communication and service has cost me money. I am demanding a partial refund of my cost, and I would like to pick up my truck and have it serviced elsewhere.Initial Complaint

On July 5, 2022 , I put a $4,120 down payment on a 2008 Cadillac Escalade at Valid Motors . The gentleman that I dealt with during this entire ordeal is *************************** (*** assisted him as well) . The first day I was suppose to take the vehicle home they said the had to fix a problem and put the *** tracker on there for the finance company . I received the vehicle in my possession on July 9 . The same day as I went to put gas in it because the fuel gauge indicated that it was empty. Once I arrived at the gas station and proceeded to put gas in it , all of the fuel came out onto my clothes and the ground. I immediately called (****** ) and told him what happened and the vehicle was delivered back to the dealership the next day July 10,2022. On July 14 , ****** and *** said that there is a major fuel issue and they would have to "check" it out and see what's going on.I contacted ****** via text on July 21 and asked him why no one has responded to me concerning this vehicle. Since July 5 , I've only had this vehicle in my possession only 1 day and by this time it's July 21, 2022. On July 25,2022 via text and phone call ****** said a part came in for the fuel and he will let me know when it's completed. After the finance company made several calls to ****** he then called me back on July 28,2022 but initially he texted me(July 25,2022) and said that the part came in and the vehicle will be "fixed" today . On July 28, 2022 , I'm in possession of the vehicle and the fuel gauge is still doing the same thing and there is fluid leaking from the vehicle . I immediately park it in my garage and send ****** pictures of the gauge and the fluid leaks in my garage. July 29 , on my way to deliver this vehicle back to them it won't start so by this time I'm done! They arrive and said that it needs an oil ring to stop the leak. ****** says if you want your money back bring the vehicle and I'll refund you . He refunded me $3,120 and on the check it says $1,000 balance. $1,000 is dueInitial Complaint

I recently financed a vehicle from a dealership (Valid Motors) and I have ran into an issue that no emissions was done on the vehicle before selling it to me. Upon financing this vehicle I was told by the dealer that the vehicle had a passing emissions. While waiting on the tag to come in the mail the temporary tag had expired. While notifying the dealer about the issue , I was told that I could go to the tag office and pick the tag up. While attempting to do so I was told that I couldnt get a tag because there was no emissions on file for the car. I then notified the dealer and then a bigger issue came that the emission was faked and was never done. Along with all of this the vehicle was overheating and was having engine issues. We attempted to work with the dealer on fixing the problem and they are giving me the run around. They were able to extend the tag for a little bit longer and now it is soon to expire once again. The problem is still not fixed. The total amount that has been put down on car is currently $1,725.
