I hired Southern Pro Landscaping to install a draining system in March 2023. A week later I called Josh the owner and told him I was having problem with water leaking inside my garage. Josh came out a week later and looked at the issue and said he would get back with me. I called and texted him between Apr and Dec of 2023 with no answer. I called again Feb 2024 and got an answer in which he told me to send my address and we will set up a date for him to repair the issue. I tried calling back and have not heard a word.

As per contract, there is Nothing that was not accomplished outside of the contract. Was seems to be the problem?

Also, I will need more information pertaining to this issue. The paperwork filed against Southern pro LLC is only an "estimate", where in, there isnt even evidence of payments, communications, actions towards project, etc.. It seems slanderous of this individual to even present the BBB with such claims, outside of any evidence to back said "claims". This "issue", as well as a few other issues, directly reflex a certain "agenda", and this false 'claim", amongst others, will find its way into litigation soon. Rhetoric?

Intially, the client had called to explain that another contractor, who had built the added on garage, didn't build th garage quite right becaue water was getting into the garage.  I explained to the customer, after listening to his remarks, that I could build a French drain around the back perimeter of the garage to keep water coming down the hill fr9m entering the garage. Both of our conclusions was that ground water was seeping into the foundation, between the bricks, and ultimately causing the leak. Half of the garage is sub surface.  I have been out multiple times and explained to the client that he needs to get ahold of the garage contractor, because they didn't seal their work properly. I didn't build the garage, in which the leak originated from. I don't build garages, I do Landscaping. Water is being diverted from entering the foundation, from water coming down the hill. I believe that a further analysis is needed, but from the garage contractors, because I am not sure of what they didn't do to seal their work.

Hired Southern Pro Landscaping and Construction October through November 2022 for the demolition of existing ******* grass, installation of ***** ****** grass, Irrigation repair, and the removal of two ***** ****** trees. The pruning of two Arborvitae hedges were added at the end of the project. Contractor failed to install Zoysia grass, installed ******* instead. Documented sample testing performed by ************ ****** Horticulture Services; Did not perform the standard practice of weed control to prevent substantial installation weed growth; Did not treat or remove tree stumps to prevent continued plant growth; Incorrectly pruned the Arborvitae hedges, causing their death; Failed to follow through with corrective actions after receiving communications, pictures and documentation from myself and my attorney. Due to the landscaping eye sore, corrective actions were performed by another contractor. Billing adjustment of $1224.00 needed to resolve discrepancies.

As per contract, cutting down of crepe myrtle was performed. Installation of royal zoysia was ordered from local sod distributor, as receipt shows. Adjustment of manually operationable sprinkler system was installed, and instructions on how to water newly installed sod was communicated. Was never made aware of trimmed hedges dying from trimming. Treatment of sod was implemented from another company after installations,  raising questions. This is the first sod installation ever reported not thriving by company installations.  Proper watering when first installed is essential in new sod installations growing root and thriving, which was expressed upon completion of sod installation.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Mr. C***** is misrepresenting the full facts of the matter. See attachments, which will shed more light on the situation. The greatest misrepresentation is Mr. C*****’ claim to have installed Royal Zoysia sod. After Mr. C***** ignored multiple requests to show proof of purchase for Royal Zoysia sod, I submitted several grass samples to a certified horticulturalist, whose testing determined the grass installed in my yard is *******, see attached email. I also have text messages from the beginning through the end of the service window, far too many to upload. I suggest the Mr. C***** read the text messages to refresh his memory.

    Sincerely,

Whatever is fair is fair. If fault can be found, or negligence with Southern Pro, then I will mist definitely want to take efforts towards resolving the discrepancy.  With everything considered, mostly inconclusive, I cannot justify a further resolution.  If anything changes, then any factual information will be considered, amd resolution sought after.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Mr. C***** continues to deny or recall any wrong doing. See attached sod quotes, photos and test messages pertaining to the sod installation and bush trimmings, other relevant test messages, and receipts for corrective actions. Note: I adjusted the resolution cost from $1,1224.00 to $1,127.00. Prior to contacting the Better Business Bureau, I considered a small claims lawsuit. The $97.00 difference represents the fee to file a lawsuit in ******** ******* ********
