    Good afternoon,

We were contracted as an ******** vendor to work per insurance scope. After reviewing what insurance approved the removal of the ***** and roots were not included so we let the homeowner know that it would require an out of pocket cost. We also attempted to have insurance cover the ***** removal and it was denied. The homeowner decided to not complete those trades so we deducted the amount that insurance paid for those 2 items. While we submitted the request for insurance to pay for the ***** removal the price for the roof was updated, so we are requesting the price difference based off the updated scope. The homeowner refuses to pay the additional funds released for the work we have completed. We informed the homeowner that those funds were allocated by the insurance company to pay for work we completed, not paying a contractor with funds released from insurance for work completed is fraud. We are not requesting funds for anything outside of what work we did and what insurance paid.

Top Pitch Roofing installed a new for us back in 2017 with a 30 year warranty. In November of 2021 we had a leak in our roof above our 2nd bathroom. We contacted Top Pitch to come fix the leak and ******* came out to fix it and stated the interior ceiling of the bathroom would need to be fixed by another department in his company as he only handles the outside. A couple weeks later the roof was leaking again and we called ******* to come back out. He sent another gentleman to fix the leak. We then tried for weeks to get them to repair the ceiling from the water damage. We were promised they would call us back or they were trying to get someone. Finally after calling to complain in January they said that ******* would be handling this even though he told us that wasn't his department. We finally scheduled someone to come onsite 2/17/22 to fix the ceiling and re-popcorn it. When the gentleman was done I expressed how displeased I was with the popcorn job. It was very clumpy, not blended, and obvious where the repair happened. I sent text to ******************* with pictures stating how it looked and did not receive a response. I resent pictures on Friday, 2/18, showing the pictures after it dried and explained a section was bubbled and not even attached to the ceiling so it will crumble. Again no response. We called their office again on 2/23 and spoke to someone who said that ******* is busy and him not responding is not him ignoring us, he would call me back that day. I asked to speak to someone in management and expressed how ignoring me for this long was not acceptable. A gentleman named ******* picked up and said he would call me and then hung up on me. I called back and spoke to *** who said she will have someone call me. After no response we called back on 2/24 and spoke to *** who said she is trying to get someone to reach out to us by EOD. After no response again we called on 2/25 and asked to speak to *** and was told she was on a call.

Good afternoon, I want to start with we apologize for the delay The person that was originally handling this in the office is no longer with the company.  It was marked as resolved.  We have contacted the customer. *** went out and reviewed the area with the Homeowner and one of our service personnel. We are scheduling with them to get this matter resolved. We were backed up with holiday and then tornado. I will follow up and let you know. When this is scheduled to take place.
