I bought a 2008 Cadillac SRX from Sparta Auto Sales. Before buying the car I asked if there was anything wrong with the car. The owner stated no and his personal mechanic did an inspection on it. The price of the car is over $9000. I put $2500 down and pay $200 every two weeks.February 26, 2022 Before 3 months of having the car the car just cuts off. Got it towed back home cause it was late.I called Sparta and spoke to the owner and he said for me to get it towed to his shop which like a fool I had it towed back to Sparta. After a week, I called because I never heard from the mechanic nor the owner. The owner and the mechanic were just ordering parts for it. Then wanted me to pay and it wasn't operable. I had it towed back to my house and noticed my car had deep scratches on it. The owner's mechanic looked at it then the mechanic was starting well I told him(talking about the owner) then he stopped and started yelling saying I didn't touch that car and to stop calling me(the mechanic). A lot of back and forth with the owner. I had it towed to Cadillac. ******** stated the previous owner before Sparta became the owner was told that the components in the engine were going out. If it was continued to be driven the engine would go out completely. I called to speak to the owner but supposedly he was out of town. The man I spoke to sounded just like the owner. I have spoken with whomever he was.He never provided his name. Kept saying he could help. I told him to just replace the car or fix it or just give me my money back. He says well you have a nice ornament sitting in your driveway. Also, stated they(Sparta) will be suing Cadillac for telling me the prior history of the car. This is beyond me. I will be filing a Statement of Claim soon. I have a lot of pictures and can't send all but can provide them by sending whomever an email with them.
