On Friday, September 1, 2023, my husband took my 2011 Mini ****** ********** to get the oil changed at the Take 5 Oil Change located at ***************************************************************. Since the oil change, the check engine light appeared, and the car was not driving properly. Today (September 8, 2023), I took my car to get serviced and discovered the dipstick was not replaced properly, which resulted in oil spilling all over my engine. As a result, I incurred a repair cost of $1173.44 to repair the damage. I called Take 5 in an attempt to speak with someone; however, no one picked up the phone. I went to the company's online customer service portal but did not get a response. I completed an online customer service form, but no one has reached out. My husband went to the location to speak with a manager. They claimed no one touched the dipstick; however, their video captured the technician removing it and placing it back in the car. The technician who changed the oil even recognized my husband and remembered changing the oil. Further, I have a video from the service center I visited today with the dipstick out of place and oil on the engine. The oil change cost me $108.32; however, I respectfully ask Take 5 to reimburse me for the cost I paid today ($1173.44) to fix their mistake, plus the cost of the oil change ($108.32). Please help me.

Went to Take 5 for a Oil Change on 3/27/2023. I paid $89.70 and received my refund at the end. The company is committed to using the take 5 procedures (STOP, LOOK, ASSESS, CONTROL, MONITOR). It is for near misses, injuries, and accidents. When I left take 5 I made it around the corner before I realized that my car was overheating due to oil POURING out my car. This is VERY BAD customer service and SAFETY hazard. I have contacted the business at least once to resolve the issue and was told that they was supposed to come out the next day and put a emergency over-size plug on it. I was also told that the company is suppose to have an emergency plug in handy at the shop anyway. They never came or called. I was told that the employee has done his due diligence being that I didn't notify them in the beginning that I had a oil pan problem. It did not help that the camera's show me waiting 3-5 minutes BEFORE they pulled me for service, my car was not leaking. The employee claims he was not able to get the plug out but I do have a full tank of oil so it should not be that bad, but the manager the next day responded looking at the camera saying he indeed pulled the plug. Seeing that my "screw" was stripped he attempted to do something that shook my car on camera and then left it the way is was and let a women unsafely drive around the corner knowing I was not going to make it down the street. The ***** *********. I had no choice but to tow my car to the only mechanic I trust and it cost me $255.00. I also have to replace my pan due to the fact that the employee did not STOP and NOTICE, instead he ATTEMPTED with the WRONG tools to get my plug out and it cost me a mechanic repair instead of a simple oil change.
