I purchased a 2019 Mazda CX-5 from Jim Ellis in *********, ** on Saturday 12/22/2022, and the odometer reading was ****** this was a Pre-Owned vehicle, and I am thinking that I am getting a really good deal here. So I traded my 2015 Mazda i Grand Touring in as a Trade-in. I downloaded the MyMazda app on my cell phone in March of 2023, and this car comes up with an odometer reading of ******* miles. So there is a difference of *******. this reading was verified by MyMazda that it was correct! I believe that this odometer reading was rolled back to sell this car to me when there was a shortest of cars being made during the Covid-19 Pandemic, and this car after 8 months needed a new Lithium battery, which cost me $350, and the brakes and rotor on the brakes are worn out, this is too soon for these things to go bad on this car. I believe that I was sold a car under fraudulent pretenses. Beware of this when shopping at Jim Ellis located at ***************************************************, ** *****!

We recently purchased a brand-new Mazda CX-30 on Sat 16 Sep 2023. ************************* was inexperienced (by her constant statements of, "Im new. I have to learn more about this...", unprepared, not up to speed on basic knowledge of the models nor of the basics of the finance offerings. She was looking up the information along with us; she did not seem to know anything about any of the differences in the trim levels.When we decided on a trim level, ******* (AJ) located one. Before we drove, I wanted to make sure the numbers were going to work for financing. ** told us that Mazda was offering 0% financing for the entire term. We told her that we were financing for 60 months, and she told us that as long as the credit score qualified us, there would be no issue. I calculated the numbers based on a negotiated out-the-door price for 60 months at 0% with $6,000 down, and we were happy with that payment.As soon as we got handed off to the finance manager, *********************, he informed us that the 0% was offered only on 36-month term loans. The best rate we could get was 7.4%, which drove the payment up by approximately $70 per month. So, I negotiated down to a price that got close to the monthly payment amount that we thought we were getting on the 0%/60-month deal. Then I noticed that these add-ins were being offered at "$X/month for 63 months." I asked, why are we seeing these prices based on 63 months when its a 60-month loan? He automatically extended 3 months to my term because to him, it eases the increase in monthly payment w/o asking me.It was a disgusting misrepresentation of both sales and finance, and anyone considering buying here should take their calculator and question every term, every number, and every assumption, and check their work, because they will s**** you at every available opportunity. Every. Single. One. A unilaterally unethical dealership that literally did everything they could to get one over on this customer.
