I went to Brakes4Less in Augusta, GA. Washington Rd location. My front brakes were grinding badly and it's hard to stop. I'm disabled and I only get paid once a month so I'm on a strict budget. I was charged $523 to replace the front pads and rotors on ******** ** *******, I began to notice the severe grinding and squealing I had before I had them replaced. They told me that I would have to return their parts before being issued a refund or let them repair my brakes using their warranty. How can I trust a company to repair my brakes, one of the most vital parts to a car, and they didn't repair them properly the first time. I can't afford to keep get my brakes repaired over and over because a shady business wants to make money.

I went to Brakes 4 Less due to an issue with my vehicle in early March. Without even asking what the issue was the gentleman took my keys and did a "brake inspection." He then told me I needed all new back equipment, and it would be double the price of any services that they had advertised around the store. Desperate for repair, I agreed... The issue persisted after my car was finished. The gentleman said they need to be "worn in" and to "give it a few days." When I went back to the shop a few days later, he told me to "drive it like I stole it" to break it all in, "it'll take a week of hard driving and braking." Went and got a second opinion, (asked me what issues I was having right away) they said it was the FRONT brakes. After proper repairs, (issues with my car stopped that day, not a week later) I was informed that the recent job on the back brakes had been done poorly and I had broken/ missing equipment. The second shop had to repair Brakes 4 Less' errors for safety reasons, costing me even more out of pocket. I went back yet again and got Brakes 4 Less up to speed. Though the mechanic was polite, this situation was all too ridiculous. He proceeded to pay me $60 out of his wallet for the lug nut that they messed up but assured me there was no other refund coming back. I can appreciate the notion but lacks all the proper professionalism that one would hope for when it comes to their vehicle. I feel as though this company took well advantage of the situation. I would like at least some sort of refund seeing as I received a service that did not fix the job and then was told to leave again when I came back in about it.

I have a 2016 Mercedes and I took it to Brakes4Less on 01/29/22 to have my back brakes done. Their rep advised me that I needed front and back brakes done and that was the service that I paid for on that day. I returned back to that same store on 02/05/22 and spoke with the same rep about my car making noises. The rep advised to have my front rotors replaced and he ordered them. I returned back to that location on or around 02/19/22 to have that done. While waiting at the location, I was advised by their rep that my wheel lock key had been broken and I needed to purchase one from a local dealership that services that model of car. I arrived at the dealership on that day and then they advised that a wheel lock key had to be ordered. My advisor suggested to just had the locks removed from my car on that day. The advisor and technician the dealership advised me that my screws had been stripped by Brakes4Less and they had to be drilled out. Brakes4Less paid to have that work performed on my vehicle on or around 02/25/22.. This has been the beginning to no end for me. The dealership put on new back brakes and rotors on 02/25/22 due to the scrubbing. I thought my car had finally been repaired. My family and I went to Alabama on 02/26/22 and car was still making noises from the front. I even travelled to Columbia on 02/28/22. I was on my way home from Columbia when my service engine light comes on and it reads check my pad wear, I contacted the dealership on that day and they advised me to bring it in. The dealership advised me that Brajes4Less never plugged my sensor back up and that was the banging noise caused by the sensor dangling. Then I was told by the dealership that my brakes were installed wrong on the front. They had my right side pads on the left side and the left pads on the right and that was my popping noise. I transport my kids, grandkids in my car and we had even been out of town in the car that was very dangerous.
