    On January 24, 2024 CBB Drywall Installation & Repair *** came to my home to remove damaged drywall and install new drywall and paint. A year warranty was given on the service we received. A few months after the installation, I noticed multiple long cracks in the drywall. I've called and texted Mr. ******** numerous of times with no response.

    ************************************* requested and accepted a 20% deposit ($760) prior to the first day of the project. The deposit was paid on February 25, 2022. The day the project began, ************************************* arrived at about 12:30 PM after we agreed work would begin at 8:00 AM. He prepped 1 room out of 6 rooms for popcorn removal by covering the floor and walls- and left. The prep took about 30 minutes. He stated he would be back at 7:00 AM the following day. The following day, I called ************************************* at about 9:30 AM and he insisted he was on his way to continue the project. I declined and asked him to refund my deposit. ************************************* stated the refund would be processed in 3 business days. About 5 business days later, I called and ************************************* did not answer the phone. Later that day, ************************************* sent an email stating the refund was processed that day. I waited until the following week and the money still had not been refunded. ************************************* did not answer any of my phone calls. I went to the address listed on the CBB Drywall Installation & Repair *** website. It is not a store front or a **** house. It is a residence within a subdivision. When I rang the ****, a woman answered via the Ring Doorbell and I explained the reason for my visit. The woman stated she is not affiliated with CBB Drywall Installation & repair ***. She stated she is *************************************************** aunt and does not know where ************************************* can be found. The woman also stated she has repeatedly asked ************************************* to disassociate her address from CBB Drywall Installation & Repair ***. After I left the residence, ************************************* texted me and asked if I went to his aunt's house. I replied that I did. ************************************* provided a partial refund, totaling $475 over the following week. ************************************* has stopped answering my phone calls and has not responded to my voicemails.

    ****************** has requested a charge back after we had purchased material and prepped for popcorn removal. ****************** contacted us again to start up the project again after canceling. We asked by text message if he was sending the deposit back for startup, ****************** would not respond by text message. We have paid ****************** in full.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I have not been given the agreed upon refund. ************************************* verbally agreed to refund $710. After the agreement, he unilaterally decided he would only refund $660. The reasons I agreed to provide the business a second opportunity to complete the project was because:

    ************************************* was refusing to provide the agreed upon refund

    ************************************* told me his brother died, which was negatively impacting ******** Huntsberrys income

    ************************************* told me business had been slow and he didnt have any customers 

    If business was slow, ************************************* should have had time to complete the project. However, in response to my Yahoo review of his company, ************************************* states he had other customers to take care of.
    Lastly, I refused to give ************************************* a deposit after getting the partial refund because I had such a hard time getting the partial refund. He provided a list of material and I purchased the material. He did not show up to start the project and thats when I contacted the BBB.
