Date of service: 7/30/24 Amt of: $152.61 flat rate fee (includes labor to fix) Came out to fix my washer that was 15 months old. The tech did absolutely nothing. Did not unplug it, pull it from the wall or take the back off. All she did was run it for codes. Told us everything inside was not working & quoted me a price of $638 to fix it. (The washer sells for $599.) I have emailed them several times for the codes that she got & what an item on the invoice is for & they refuse to respond. I would like to get some of the $152 back since I don’t intend to let them fix it. So they are getting paid for not fixing it. I also would like the codes she got & part numbers for the parts she says we need. I do not & will not recommend them to anyone.

    Hello *****,

Just wanted to reach out here since we were also notified here that you are still interested in a different solution that has been given to you by our staff members. On our records we show we emailed you back and actually spoke with you, and I personally walked you through your diagnosis. You have agreed to allow another technician to show you specifically your failures on your machine. As for the Diagnostic fee. We are a flat rate diagnostic and only charge labor in addition if the repair is over 45 minutes. In your case there has no charge for labor on your diagnostic and in fact there are 2 parts not on your estimate that are actually going to be warranted by manufacturer. I explained that unfortunately your machine has several observed and confirmed issues relating to the gearcase (transmission) components and the switching device. You stated that you would not move forward with the repair and that is where we left off. Our business does several hundred service calls in many directions for different things. This has been the first in all these years that a customer wants us to return a fee because they don't want to pay us to tell them what is wrong with their appliance after the work is complete. I see we have plans to see you early this coming week. I hope this explanation again will assist you in understanding how all service companies that are paid to do diagnostics and repair must be compensated to continue to provide the needed services.
