            It is not just a repair shop, but they also sell automobiles. I took my 2007 **** **** to Peach County Motors in April of 2023 for repairs of a rattling sound from the engine compartment. Mr. **** and I initially discussed it may be the timing chain, but when bringing my truck in for the repair, a mechanic indicated it may be the flywheel. I approved for the timing chain and flywheel to be checked to see if the source of the noise could be identified. The only issue with the truck, when I took it in for repair, was the rattling noise from the engine compartment. On **** *** 2023, the repair shop advised me the flywheel was the source of the rattling noise and it was okay for me to take my truck to ********, but we would still do the timing chain. When I left the truck on June ****, the truck’s motor was running okay and there were no issues with the motor skipping or losing compression. I also made a good faith payment of $828.00 toward the repairs. At no time did I request or give permission verbally or in writing for the spark plugs to be changed, inspected, or altered in any way. Upon a subsequent visit, I was advised a spark plug had broken off in the head of the motor. I did not provide Mr. **** or anyone in his shop permission to change, inspect, or remove the spark plugs from my truck. Since I did not permit anyone to remove the spark plugs; therefore, he is responsible for any damage that occurred while performing unauthorized repairs to my truck. Mr. **** has since told me I am responsible for getting the spark plug out of the motor or I should purchase a new motor for the truck. This is my final attempt to resolve this matter before going to court. Please see the attachment for a full context of what occurred.
