On May 21, 2022 I called my insurance for a blowout tire. I was told that my car needed to be towed. Instead of going to a near shop, I set the location to a place of residence. I was taken to a shop that the driver had on his phone. I was then charged $95.00 extra to have my car taken to the original place I had set for my drop off location because it was too far. The driver spoke with his ***** ***** boss spoke to me as well. I didnt receive a receipt for the extra $95.00, or confirmation, my information for a transaction wasnt recorded by either person I spoken to. When I asked the driver for a receipt, he looked at me odd and then drove off, before driving off I called because he was just sitting in the parking lot of the drop off location. I got in touch with the company July 30, 2022 after calling numerous times to speak with someone about at least receiving my receipt. A supervisor answered, he told me something might be going on that the driver I had may have pocketed my money and gave me his number to send him my proof of the tow information. I didnt receive a call back from the supervisor. Called until today August 20, 2022 the same supervisor answered after calling since July 30th saying this was his first time speaking with me on the same number he told me to send my information to. He then proceeds to say that I was charged correctly because my insurance paid for my tow service but what they have in their system is not what I have based off of the location. Its a further or different distance/location so I was charged. He stated that I should have received a receipt and doesnt know why I didnt. What the driver did was terms for termination and he will check the cameras inside the truck. He then said after he does that and conduct/complete an investigation he will give me a call back.
