I started a policy with them for myself and my husband. Eight months later I received a refund. I later found out that it was because the agent couldn't be heard asking me or my husband certain questions. I was also sold a discount plan for coffins and such through them with a company called ****** that didn't and won't refund what they've charged me over the eight month period. Although it's a separate entity, it was offered through Senior Life and is owned by a family member of the Owner of Senior Lufe. The worst part is that we walked around for eight months thinking we had some coverage and if something happened, they would not have paid. If the whole policy was processed fraudulently, none of the policy should have been processed. I feel totally cheated.Review from Annabell S

I was sold a policy by an agent supposedly from Arkansas 6/5/2024. They set me up on automatic payments. I have yet to receive a policy. Furthermore, it's extremely hard to get through to these people on the phone. I've gotten excuses from the agent such as "there's a large storm coming in, the office is closed". I finally got thru to them today and was told the effective date of the policy is June 1, 2024, before I even contacted them. They say they've mailed me two policies: June 14, 2024 and June 28, 2024. Our mail delivery is extremely efficient. I don't believe they mailed the policies. Certainly at least one would've gotten through. When requesting a supervisor, I've been put on hold lengthy time, then hear a recording saying the voicemail can't take any more messages. Not at all happy with this company, suspect something sleazy going on.Review from Alicia M

SCAM company. ZERO stars. They sold a policy to my elderly mother who has dementia. They never sent a policy. Once I found out mother made this purchase I looked up the company on the BBB. Just as in other cases they never sent my mom a copy of her policy. I know because my brother receives her mail. Not only that but even after writing and calling to cancel the policy they did not cancel and kept charging my mom's bank account. We had to go to the bank and put a stop-payment on the auto pays. Then this company sends my mother a bill in the mail! They can't send her policy but they sure wasted no time in sending a bill!! Don't fall for their sales pitch or let them strong-arm you into paying. If you stop paying then the policy will lapse and your coverage will end. It's as simple as that.Review from Tyler C

I had the best experience with Senior Life! I was able to get IMMEDIATE coverage which is rare, a lot of companies try to put you on a 2 year waiting period EVEN when you are HEALTHY!! So I ended up going with them. Super excited with my choice, they even have additional services on top of my policy that lower the funeral expense costs by thousands of dollars!!! Happy I finally moved forward!!!Review from Linda R

Fraud! I really hate to say this because there is nothing or no one we can trust these days. The ***** sales rep is an out & out liar. She make promises that she can't keep. She says such as she will come out & meet with you talk to the funeral parlors down to the flowers & work your plans down to the flowers personally don't trust her seniors. Now when you call the company they'll tell you to call the company you're paying to help you do the things she promises to do. Don't believe a word she says she speak with fork tounge(s) many. She's very charming but she doesn't really care as she pretend to.Review from James L

I started a new policy on 7/*/24 and they took 112.50 dollars it’s been 21 days now and never got my policy they told me that they mailed it on 7/**/24 it’s been 2 weeks and still haven’t gotten my policy yet they told me the mail is slow and I say ******** it should have been here by now I really think this company is not on the up and up so I paid my bank 30 dollars to stop them from getting any more of my money because otherwise they would be taking my money out each month please take a second look before you make a decision and get ******* like I did they might have got my first payment but they won’t get any more money out of me i think I’ll have to learn a hard lesson but it’s better to lose 112.50 than them getting more so please don’t get a policy with this company or you will be sorry you did they are not to be trusted and I would go elsewhere thank you. Same as the others posted. Repeated calls to the company. Each advisor says they have sent or will send a policy out. Even will email the policy. None sent via any means. Each call the reps say " they haven't gotten around to it ". Been getting my premiums since 2020. Got my policy thru a " friend " that I can't even get back in touch w anymore that still reps the companyReview from Mary N

Senior Life is a fraud on *** *** **** I called one senior life insurance agents on *** *** **** there took my premium down payment from my account. It took one month and five days for me to even get my policy a rep had to email my policy to me as I looked over my policy they had my beneficiaries wrong and also my information right I immediately call Senior Life insurance back and explain that they got everything wrong on my policy and to counseling I go to their website to submit a cancellation letter then they tell me that the letter has to be handwritten inside they still took a payment out of my account even though I told them not true and that Mr Lewis that works at Senior Life is a straight up just mean he has no compassion he's a con artist I guess he thinks that seniors are stupid and dumb and he wouldn't give me back to my initial down payment of my money so I told him I'm not going to debate with him that I know how to get my money back it's called fire with the attorney general and the bad Business bureau and the insurance regulators I'm just advising and take my word for it please do not mess with these people because if something happened to you you might not even get buried so to cause your loved ones no holidays and unnecessary heartache I advise you to go with someone else
