March 31, 2023 -April 2, 2023 Purchased 2 night stay through ******* for Oyo **** ***** ********* **. When we arrived the sheets had stains and hair on them, so we asked for clean ones. The manager at first didn't believe us till he smell them. Only then were we given clean sheets, while he yelled at some one on the phone in a foreign language. Then a few hours later we heard a woman in the next room screaming for over 30 mins for HELP! When I picked up the room phone to call the front office for assistance. The phone didn't work. So I had to use my cell to call get the number for the office and call to ask for the police. So I got no sleep night 1..and for constant fear after very little on night 2. The other room beside us was ******* **** in the hall way. The ice machine did not work. The room was very dingy. It was bad all the way around.

On 3/29/23 I booked the Oyo hotel on the **** from ****** ***. I thought it would be great the pictures were nice and since I was driving with **** **** * ***** I thought it would be relaxing, until I pulled up. The outside looks nothing like those pictures, the doors are painted black and the curtains you can see from the drive are darkish blue. The lobby is also nothing like the picture. It is some what crowded with a glass counter. When I got there I was informed I needed a credit card or a $80 deposit for a none smoking room. I was unaware of this when I first booked. I went in and checked in and left before being back the $80. My children were so upset that the pictures that we saw were not the same as we were looking at!

I booked a stay to OYO hotel thru **********, when we were that the hotel would be far from where we wanted to stay we tried canceling the booking. I talk to ********** and the said that it would be resolved and we would not have to pay them. We were told that they would talk to the hotel and cancel our stay. But we are seeing that we were charged for the stay that we were never there. We need the money back.

I booked 2 rooms for the night of July 2 over a month before arrival. After driving 11 hours, I arrived to find that they had overbooked and cancelled my reservations. When I called "customer service" I was told that they were sorry. I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told they were all too busy to talk to customers. I asked if I could wait on the line for a supervisor and was told again that they were not available to talk to customers. The hotel did refund my money and informed me that they did everything they could to find a room for us but that there were non available. I asked if they would cover the difference between what I agreed to pay there and what I might end up being charged. I was told that they would not do this. I did find rooms on the other side of the interstate exchange, so they had not looked very hard.. There was shoddy customer service from the clerk at the hotel to their "customer service" line. It has soured me on Valdosta and I will be staying in Macon on future trips to Florida and Georgia. My rooms were about $20 more expensive each. I think that OYO owes me that $40. Thank you for reading this... ******* ****
