    Ivy K Realty has managed my rental property for 10 years. In September this year I informed them that I want to terminate my agreement with them and I want them to return my condo unit to me empty without the tenant and to work with my new property manager at the end of November.They failed to pay me the September rent and said it was lost in the mail. This has happened several times in the past where they claimed the check was lost in the mail.I am fed up with their excuses.

    To whom it may concern,

    Ms. ******* ******** claim against Ivy K Realty is categorically false due to the fact that she responded in writing via text admitting that she had received her September 2024 rent. As Ms. ******** ****** stated in her complaint that this has happened a few times in the past 10 years while managing her property. With that being said, ****** ******* (agent) had offer MS. ******* ****** a solution, which was to have her enrolled into our ACH program (direct deposit) which she declined. This was the best solution for her not receiving her rent through regular mail. As of October 2024, she is now in our ACH program. 

    Attached, you will find the text between ****** ******* (agent) and ******* ******** (owner) conversation via text stating she had received her September 2024 rent.

    I am rejecting this response because: you lied about my rejecting direct deposit in the past when I did not receive my rent until late in the month. Only recently did your agent send me the form, which I filled out and returned to you. You should have the decency to be truthful rather than lie about it.

    Ivy K Realty has not returned my security deposit. My security deposit was $2,400 ($1,200 rent and $1,200 pet security deposit). I moved out 11/4/2023 and now, as of 5/28/2024, I have not received my security deposit. The agent I worked with responds with "Accounting is working on it" but I haven't received anything.

    She was refunded and cashed the check. She physically picked it up from our office.

    I am rejecting this response because: they still took almost 7 months to give me my check. Yes, I finally got it, but after 7 months. And, the check was stupidly mailed to the apartment I was moving out of. No attempt was made to resend it to my new address.
