- Android Hawaii offers a limited 1 year warranty on all parts and labor associated with your repair and is not transferable. The limited warranty is made exclusively for the benefit of the original customer of the repair, and does not include unlocking services. This limited 1 year warranty covers manufacturer-related part defects on parts installed by Android Hawaii or franchised locations as well as the workmanship associated with the repair only, and does not cover supplemental damage. Supplemental damage can be defined as any damage unrelated to the preceding repair, including, but not limited to physical damage or liquid damage to the device. Manufacturer-related defect symptoms may include one or more of the following: a spontaneous or abrupt decline in overall device functionality, touchscreen sensitivity, or LCD performance. Exclusions to this warranty include, but are not limited to, physical and/or liquid damage, game system reflows, batteries, accessories and soldered components. Liquid damage and subsequent physical damage which occurs after a completed repair will void this warranty. Additionally, this warranty is automatically voided in the event of a manufacturer software enhancement that adversely affects the functionality of the phone. If you are disputing a repair and you are receiving a refund that refund does not include the labor charge associated with your repair or any subcontracted labor provided to Android Hawaii and there is a restocking fee on returned parts if approved ( PLEASE SEE CANCELLATION SECTION ). Android Hawaii reserves the right to resolve any and all disputes concerning this acknowledgment of 1 year limited warranty coverage. This warranty does not cover software support or unlocking services.
REPAIR ORDER & SERVICE AGREEMENT
This repair order and service agreement is between you and Android Hawaii, Michael Nale, AKA, MJ Nale, cell phone repair at Century Center 1750 Kalakaua Ave. Honolulu HI. 96826, USA. This service agreement is valid even when not signed we informed you of this service agreement with your quote or request for repair. No promises or guarantees were made to me regarding my repair. All orders are processed the same day or within 24-72 hours after. In some cases we may not be able to get your part and you will be given a refund. If you have any questions call 808-724-0721 between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday - Friday, excluding federal and state holidays. Android Hawaii is not affiliated with Century Center, its staff or Hawaiiana property management company. LIABILITY
You agree that we are not liable for the following and that you assume all risks to loss or damage to any equipment you bring in for repairs. We inspect every device thoroughly when it comes into our shop but we cannot discover every problem, When you damage your smartphone problems can occur at any time. We may call you with additional information or damage that we found and that may change the initial quote, if any were given.
DEVICE CUSTODY
We maintain strict control practices when you check in a device at our repair shop to minimize any chance of loss, theft or damage. If you bring a device in for repair and it is not repairable you have 15 days upon notice by our shop to pick it up or the device and any parts will be recycled. If you have any questions or concerns please ask your technician.
ESTIMATE FOR REPAIRS
We will not proceed with your repair unless we have given you an estimate and you agreed to the price for the service including any parts, labor, and a completion time for the repair. In some cases your repair may not be completed on time due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We will call you if a delay may occur. Due to COVID-19 we have seen extended delays
YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING
You agree we will not be held responsible for any situation that happens to you because you did not have your smartphone. Including but not limited to, any lost time or wages at work, or important meetings, crimes against you or any other unfortunate circumstances that may come up unexpectedly or not including death or otherwise. We video record some of our repairs for your protection and ours and those videos are the property of Android Hawaii. Please test out your device before you leave. If this is after hours please call us before you leave and a tech will come down and assist you. We are not responsible for lost SIM CARDS, CASES, SD CARDS, BAGS, SLEEVES, PACKAGES OR OTHER EQUIPMENT THAT ARE NOT A PART OF THE DEVICE AND OR SMARTPHONE. We ask that you remove them prior to bringing in your device for repair if you are checking your device in with an Android Hawaii technician you will be given such equipment or reminded to remove them before you leave. Devices must be picked up within 15 days, if you do not pick up your device in 15 days you will get a phone call or text giving you another 15 days after that we will secure it. Please call us to work things out with you if you're having trouble coming in to pick up your repair.
CANCELATION OF REPAIRS | APPOINTMENTS
We have a strict booking policy at Android Hawaii. If for any reason you are not going to make your appointment then give us a call at 808-724-0721. You have up to 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time to cancel. If you call us within 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment, we will refund your deposit. If we do not hear back from you then you will lose your deposit which is $20. If you schedule and miss more then 3 appointments within a 6 month period you will be blocked by our system from making appointments for 1 year. If you prepaid for a part and you cancel that repair you will be given back a partial refund which is calculated as the total cost you prepaid minus 40% which covers the restocking fee plus shipping plus $20 cancellation fee. We understand that things happen please call our shop first to work things out.
PRIVACY OF THE DATA ON YOUR DEVICE
We do not copy, transfer, or view your personal notes, numbers, pictures, videos, or other data on your device without your permission. We may during the repair have to test out certain functions or the device to make sure it is fixed. These are diagnostics and they are used for testing your phone and nothing else. Please contact us if you have any special requests or concerns, sensitive pictures or cryptocurrency data or private keys that you would like us to isolate from anyone seeing or accessing during your repair. We will not factory reset your phone or other device without your consent. Your privacy is our responsibility and we take it seriously.
OTHER INFORMATION
We will provide you an interpreter if you request one. Please give us a 24 hour notice if you require one. You are not required to do any reviews online but we may ask you to do one after the repair as this helps the public make a decision if we are right for them If you have a complaint or issue that needs to be addressed please call 808-724-0721. We do not allow customers or the general public into our repair shop because we provide data recovery and tech services that require inventory control, and procedures that protect your devices and data on them. We do have a curbside drop off and pickup service so that when you come to Century Center we will have a technician waiting for you curbside with COVID-19 protective mask and gloves on for your safety and ours.
RIGHT OF REFUSAL
We reserve the right to refuse repairs, unlocks, and any service we provide at any time without cause. This service agreement was revised on January 18, 2021.
