Have brought my mustang to get worked on in March 2023. Paid over $8000 to get a part in and was told it will take 2-3 months to get in and additional month to work on. Come November after many failed attempts to get in contact with owner by phone, email or at the physical shop, I went to to the police. They informed the business is closed. They got in contact with me in February 2024 to say they reopened and its now July and I still dont have my car and no contact with the owner.

Rev Limit has possession of my vehicle since June 2023 and have not fixed my vehicle. I left for ********* for a work trip and was out of the country for 2 1/2 months. On June 29th I received a voice message asking me to call **** concerning the status of my vehicle which I was informed that an additional part was needed and required it to be welded to the frame. All of the parts that were originally ordered were in, but the shop had to supplemental claim to USAA for the part and labor. I received another text message on July 13 asking me to sign and authorize them to work on my vehicle. A week before I was due to return which was on August 26th, I called to receive a status on my vehicle and was told the part needed a liner assembly was on backorder. When I returned from *********, I went to the auto body shop to inquire about the part that was on back order which was on Sept 18. I was told that the part was told the part was still on backorder and that the Acura dealership on Oahu did not have the part. They tried looking with salvage yards but could not find one that was not damaged. I returned the following week on Sep 26th to remove some personal items that I needed and was told that the person who had the key to where my car was secured was on lunch and **** would call me when he returned which he never did. From ***** Sept, I returned to the shop every day at different times of the day, and no one was at the shop. I called and could never get anyone on the phone. I called my insurance company on Sept 29 to inform them that the part that the shop said was on backorder was no longer on backorder, yet the shop was still saying that it was. The adjuster with USAA tried calling several times with the same response I received of no answer. I have tried since them to contact them and still no answer. On Oct 6, I received a text from **** stating the last part needed to complete the repairs was available and expected to arrive within ***** business days with 2-3 days to complete the repairs. I tried to contact the shop on Oct 27 to follow up and did not receive a response. I spoke with USAA on Oct 30 since they paid the shop to compete the repairs and was told that there isn't much they can do since the shop is out of their network but the second check for the supplemental claim was made out to myself and the body shop which I was not made aware of.
