    I am writing to file a formal complaint against Lawai Beach Resort regarding my timeshare ownership. Despite my repeated requests, Lawai Beach Resort has failed to initiate the cancellation process for my timeshare ownership, causing undue financial and personal distress.The timeshare was transferred to me by my parents, but due to significant financial changes, including a substantial decrease in income, I am no longer able to afford the maintenance fees associated with the timeshare. Furthermore, personal and financial constraints prevent me from utilizing the timeshare for travel purposes.In my correspondence with Lawai Beach Resort, I have clearly communicated my inability to uphold the responsibilities associated with the timeshare ownership and my desire for cancellation. Despite assurances of cooperation, no concrete steps have been taken to facilitate this process.I kindly request the Better Business Bureau's intervention to ensure that Lawai Beach Resort honors my request for cancellation promptly. I am willing to comply with any necessary procedures and paperwork required to facilitate this cancellation efficiently.Please find enclosed copies of relevant correspondence and documentation supporting my complaint.     No it has not been resolved yet. They're holding me hostage for a ****** for "product" with no value. I accepted this time share from my parents as a gift. Then I discovered the entire shady world of time shares. Even deeded ones have no value not even the value of the paper the deed is typed on. It's been over 2 years of trying to get them to just take it back. They will just resell it to some other person who will again be trapped into a lifetime contract. I didn't even buy it I signed no contract just accepted a quit claim deed so they couldn't come after my parents in retirement. They threaten me every few months with ***** on my home and forclosure. Forclose on the timeshare already. But not one more cent will I pay for an unuseable,unsellable, worthless piece of paper.

    We have 3 weeks at our home resort, we have 2 weeks scheduled but the scheduling department has been worthless in helping plan our 3rd week, They say they can do nothing in helping us with scheduling even when we just want a week and book it layer. They do not answer our emails or phone calls in a timely manner. This company needs to be investigated, we have been members since the ****s and its always has been a struggle to book. I know this minor compared to other complaints but we have been members since ****s

    Our reservations procedures have changed very little since ****. An owner may request use up to 24 months in advance. Confirmation is confirmed based on availability. On January 1st, we opened calendar for January ****. A request will be accepted for arrivals up to January 31.

    During January, we are not able to book any arrival dates beyond January 31, ****. And the same applies as we roll through the year: February 1, ****, through February 28, ****; March 1, ****, through March 31, ****.

    Reservations are confirmed in the order received from 12:00 am on the first of each month. If we receive it too early, it is placed at the bottom of the requests received from 12am on.
