I have read the complaint from *************************. I'm very sorry to see how he feels about his experience with us. His car, a 2004 Mini ******, came to our shop in early February for Front Wheel Bearings replacement. He bought the parts for the replacement. We did the job and the Front Wheel Bearings were replaced. As **** stated, we received a call from him on March 13 that his car broke down. We towed it to our shop from the **** Oncology parking lot and did an inspection discovering the Lower Control Arm failed causing the axle to pull out of the transmission damaging it. This issue is completely separate from what the car originally came in for, Front Wheel Bearings replacement, which were replaced. The Control Arm is not a part of changing Wheel Bearings. It is a completely separate component. Looking at the Control Arm we could see that it rotted from the inside out. We explained to him what happened and asked him what he wanted to do. He did not want to repair it after he was advised the cost would probably exceed $3000.00. He wanted the car brought to his home. We towed the car to his house and gave him his receipt. As for the receipt for the Front Wheel Bearings charge, $300.00 as stated in the complaint, he said he did not want one. The receipt is on file in our office. His disputed amount is not what we charged him.

    Thank you,
